Zhentarim Skymage

So my question is about the mount of the skymage, so I intend to get a gray linnorm as my mount my question is would this mount gain experience and level up and what about its feats?

So last night I was thinking of ways to increase the possible Mount you can get via Zhentarim Skymage, when I suddenly thought wouldn't you be able to use Legacy Champion & Uncanny Trickster? Thus adding ten extra levels to skymage, and allowing for some badass mounts.

One official useage of this prestige class (supposed to be used for Mages of the Zentharim Merchant Organization) can be found on the FR Adventure Shadowdale: Scouring of the Land.

There, the normal skymages use an advanced foulwing (monster found in Lost Empires of Faerûn).
The major skymage uses a half-black dragon advanced foulwing.

Both foulwings have 8 HD, a nice set of SQs and are the archetypical foul creatures with leathery wings and stuff (analogy to the LotR's mounts of the Nazgûl).

They are really cool, strong and not ridiculously overpowered.
