Hey All,

I wanted to plug my app for creating battle maps for RPGs in a fast, intuitive manner: Dungeon Mapp. It's available for the iPad and for Android tablets.

The best source of info about all the features is on the website:

http://ambitioussoftware.com/

and there you can also find links to the paid versions, as well as how-to videos, features, online and offline manuals, screenshots and more.

Also for the people doing the D&D Next playtest, you can download the mapps of the playtest and install them on your tablet of choice.

I'm always keen to hear feedback or feature requests, please reply here or through the website.

All the best,

Derek

The Android app store currently has only one Review of the free phone-version, which gives it one star and says that the app crashes and closes as soon as it opens. Has this been recently remedied?

This person was trying to open a program designed for tablets on his Phone, which is why it crashed. We've tried it on a number of phones and it seems to work, but is very difficult to operate. My suggestion is to not try to open it on phones.

Hi All,

Dungeon Mapp 1.5 has been released for iPad (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/dungeon-mapp/id442239810?ls=1&mt=8)and Android (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ambitioussoftware.dmap&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5hb WJpdGlvdXNzb2Z0d2FyZS5kbWFwIl0.)tablets! It includes new features like the ability to email mapps from within the App and some bug fixes and optimizations.

I've also loaded onto my website parts 7 and 8 of the Caves of Chaos Mapps, for those wanting to use Dungeon Mapp to track the players through the D&D Next playtest mapps. Please check it out and let me know how you go!

Cheers,

Dex

I'm getting the new Note 2014 tomorrow. I'll be sure and pop a review after I've fiddled around a bit. I GM a lot, and plan on using this (at work, rofl) to put together maps and be able to easily transfer them out to the top-down projector at my buddies house. Whee.

I'll be sure to take a look at it as I just about to get a new tablet and am trying to use that more and more for games. If you're still taking requests, a treasure generator would be great. I play 3.5 dnd and some sort of app that could generate treasure from all 3.5 ogl sources.

I think there's already a character sheet app, not sure.
