Bartle in the Playground

You've all heard of the "Bartle" Test of Gamer Psychology, right?

It can be found on wikipedia.

Could anyone suggest games for each archetype?

Achiever. But with all tests of these types, the tests and their over-simplified answers don't really do a good job of capturing my priorities and opinions about RPG play.

For example, the reason I don't answer positively to any of the PVP oriented responses is that I feel that PVP is fundamentally unfair in progression games. The challenge has more to do with having good network connectivity, a good team composition and good gear than any modicum of your personal skills.

Having played Bartle's games, I'd *strongly* recommend taking his statements with a grain of salt. They're certainly applicable to MUD II, but I don't necessarily believe that they're universal.

I didn't get very far into the test. The vast majority, if not all, of the question were geared towards mmo players. I have long since given up on playing said genre as it does not appeal to me in the least.
