Fiend of Posession and Battletitans

Hell and the Abyss are having a major battle royale in our campaign world of Greyhawk.

Armies are being marshalled, currently of local trolls, orcs, and other monstrous types, led by fiendish masters.

I was thinking battletitans on the field would be pretty badass, but you know what would be even more badass? If they had a malevolent intelligence and cast spells.

What sort of devil or demon would make a cool possessing creature?

Groups of possessed Horrific Vasuthants would be scary. Rerolls every turn and time traveling back 1 round 3/day. Those would allow more powerful demons the ability to correct mistakes or take advantage of opportunities with powerful foreknowledge. That and Horrific Vasuthants are CR 17 on their own.

Fiendwurms and Linnorm Corpse Tearers would be very useful too.
