A server for LOTRO

I just signed up to LOTRO and that made me wonder, is there one main server people tend to gravitate towards? Since I'd like to join a server where I could have groups of people meeting up to adventure occasionally.

We had a GiantitP kinship a while back, most of the people here were focused in Arkenstone. If you just want a server with a large population, Landroval's probably the best choice. It's also the unofficial roleplaying server, so the community is a little more mature and they have all sorts of cool events.

I wouldn't wait up on the GitP kinship. Back when I played about a year ago, it was already dead so I don't imagine it'll be very active at this point.

When my brother and I got LOTRO, the default server was Dwarrowdelf so we chose that, and both of us have invested quite a bit of time to our main characters on there. Do not make the same mistake as us. Dwarrowdelf sucks.
