[PF] Druid pack lord archetype

Wanted to try a druid for a kingmaker campaign.

Anyone have tried the Pack Lord archetype ?
Is it worth dividing your levels on companions ?
Or is it better to avoid it and stick with only one ?

Any other suggestions for playing a druid ?

BTW we only have access to book stuff: core, apg, um, uc

Pack lord is an 'OK' archetype.
I would recommend having only 2 or 3 Companions max though.
