After my avatar artist moved his stuff to a new photobucket album, I am unable to update my avatar. The new URL is http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n159/Akrim13/Pony%20Avatars/g4380.png . When I paste this in the custom avatar field, I get "You did not enter the correct format for the Custom Avatar URL field. Please read the field description for the expected format." Is its URL too long or something?

The folder has a space in it. You'll need to get the space removed.

You could try reposting the image and then using that URL, sometimes it is just too long.It's probably because its a pony avatar though.:P

Or what Rawhide said. But what I said is an option too.:smallwink:

This. You may be able to replace the space with a "%20", but I don't recall that working for me.

The %20 is already there in the URL. That's why it's not working (replacing the %20 with an actual space won't work either, though).

My suggestion is to rehost it so that if the avatarist in question needs to move stuff around in the future, you're not inconvenienced.

Out of curiosity... to save the effort of making a new folder and naming it without spaces, would getting a tinyurl for it fix the problem?
