A man in an elegant robe takes the field, his black hair in a short ponytail. His eyes are just slightly off as he begins to laugh, melodiously and loudly.

"You have no idea just who you're dealing with, do you?! Bahahaha!"

A great sacrificial pit opens in front of the planeswalker, who proceeds to begin cleaning off the altar...

A Planeswalker in simple, multicoloured robes merely laughs, as the blood-pit opens amongst the large field of plains that stretches around you, filled with waving grass.
"Nut. Keel over and die now, just save me the trouble so I can be on my way."

"Oh, what is this? I'm a nut? Indeed, one could consider me as such. I am none other than the Great Cyrus Ahu, Seventh Flame of the Arcane Order! I earned that title because of my skill with fire, which will be witnessed shortly!"

The altar seems to mold back into the landscape as an enormous pillar of flame leaps from the ground. When the smoke clears, Cyrus stands as the ringmaster of a nightmarish circus performance, with gore spattered across the seating and floor.

"Come one, come all! For it is soon that you shall witness the greatest performance in the planes! Truly, it shall be a symphony of violence that this world has not seen since the last war!"

The man simply Laughs.
"A master Magi. You won't last long. I am the Plainswalker Alexia. Lord Captain of the Mercenary hosts of Zendikar, and Master of those of shapeless form. Your circus, is about to become a real riot."
With a wave of his had, a tall and well muscled man appears beside him in white robes, his eyes shine with intelligence, and a sharp greatsword rests in his hands. The Plains slowly expand as energies of the roil are harnessed.

The mad mage continues his ranting, of course.

"Ah, but you make a clear mistake! For I, too, am a Planeswalker! Actually, make that two mistakes!"

The Blademaster blanches suddenly as a bolt of superheated plasma flies through his torso at nearly the speed of light, leaving a cauterized and clean hole several inches in diameter through the man. He collapses to the ground.

"That mistake happens to be trusting in friends and allies that will only fail you when they are most needed! Now, witness the first ring of my wonderful performance!"

The creature strikes Cyrus across the jaw, drawing some blood. The man simply wipes off the leakage and says, with a hideous grin upon his face:

"Oh, and here I was worried that you might hold back! The goody-two-shoes type often does, you see. Now that I'm sure you mean business, let us dance!"

Fireballs strike out at the great plains surrounding the Carnarium, reducing a portion of them to naught but dust and stone. Then, drawing power from this new source, he pulls forth a flute and begins to play a haunting tune...

...The mysterious, faceless creature begins howling in indescribable pain as poison runs through its veins, and a close inspection shows the jaws of a serpent clamped around the creature's leg. Even as the unknown beast dies in unbearable agony, the Serpent slithers to Cyrus' side, emitting a horrifying shriek in Alexia's direction.

"This is what I speak of. Even if you were to destroy my pet now, it has already dealt a blow with its rather dynamic entry. Oh, and believe me: There is much more where that came from. Already I begin to outpace you in sheer power, and soon there will be nothing you can do to stop your untimely demise. Of course, there is always the option of...

...How did you put it? 'Keeling over and dying?' It might not be such a foolish move, as it's certainly less painful than burning to death!"

(Play Badlands, cast Shriekmaw for its full cost. When Shriekmaw enters the battlefield, it automatically destroys your facedown creature. End turn.)

"Nothing? No witty comeback? No retaliation in grim silence? Just a book? You're really no fun, but the show must go on!"

As if responding to Cyrus' words, the Carnarium seems to expand, grabbing a hold of the edges of the Badland and stretching itself to fit over it. Now, it has expanded from a three-ring circus to a full twelve rings. The portal to the underworld seems to release a Man made of fire and bronze, and his mere presence seems to weaken the veil between the planes. Then comes his hound, little more than a nightmarish flame upon a canine form, with teeth as sharp as needles.

"And now, the show begins to come together! The beginning may have been dull, but I assure you that the rest shall not be. Now, why don't you enjoy the first act?"

The serpent releases another hideous shriek, and lunges forward to strike Alexia with poisoned fangs before slinking back to Cyrus' shoulder.

"Oh, you were hoping for your insignificant Elf to save you? Like I said, Allies will only fail you when you most need them. They are nothing more than tools, to be discarded when they have served their purpose. Watch, as your defenses fall!"

Instantly, a thin line sprung from the finger of the mighty mage, connecting quickly with the elf. It glowed softly for a mere moment, then began suffering horribly as it transformed into nothing but dust from the inside out.

"Now, witness one step closer to your end!"

Alexia could barely hear this above the incredible din of battle, as claws and fangs tore into him from all directions...

(First, play Badlands. Then tap Rakdos Carnarium to play Terminate on your Joraga Bard, destroying it. Tap the other Rakdos Carnarium, Badlands, and Blood Crypt to activate Lavaclaw Reaches' ability, turning it into a creature. Then spend the left over mana to pump it to 3/2. Alexia's eyes fail to rest themselves on any clear threat, though a young girl is within his sights. She's actually rather pretty, with long black hair, soft features on pale skin, and a youthful, almost angelic complexion implying that, while certainly an adult, she can't be older than twenty.

She also has a pair of wings, still partially white despite the fact that an oily black has begun to take hold at the edges of the feathers. Her expression seems halfway between terror and pity, a strange mix to be sure.

"Don't come near me! I... ...I can't control them!"

Even as she says this, some of the surrounding area transforms into what appears to be a dilapidated chapel, and strange apparitions seem to be watching from the pews and corners.

Alexia glances upon high, staring at the Thrull thinking. Underneath his robe he grabs an orb of metal, pouring his power into it, the ball uncurls into a Metamorph, taking a little of his energy. A definately Phyrixian artifact.
Then it reforms, making a copy of the Thrull.
'One problem Dealt with.' Alexia thought.
Again, the freeblade aproached the women, this time a sword in his hand, as he watches out for the Thrull.

The Freeblade strikes another spirit, destroying it.

Soon, however, all goes quickly to darkness. One spirit destroys itself, but its essence causes the chapel to almost double in size! Then, a new wave of power erupts, and the Thrull grows unnaturally fast, strong, and thirsty for the life-force of others.

It strikes relentlessly, and mercilessly.

(Close? Ha! This deck virtually always either flops or mercilessly overwhelms the opposition. You may have mistaken the Thrull for my fattie threat. In truth, that thing's just a warmup...)

[roll0]

The thrull devours the soul of its doppelganger, and seven more apparitions exude themselves from its form. Even as the Freeblade manages to disperse two more apparitions, however, even restoring Alexia in the process, the marshes grow ever wider.

Then, unflinchingly, nightmarish animated statues rise from the earth. They seem like an impenetrable barrier, and none of Alexia's soldiers can bear to look into their sorrowful eyes, nor would they dare to touch the constructs without painfully strenuous effort on Alexia's part.

Finally, the great beast swoops down again in Alexia's direction, attempting to deal a grievous blow to his physical form.

This deck tends to be a build up, in fact, this is the excessively large version of the one I have with all the cards in it that I know and want, and this deck builds up very quickly into a horde of rampaging monsters, if it has half a chance and the right mana, which it is getting a chance....)

Alexia curses as his energy is siphoned away by the Thrull.
Waving his hand, a theif darts out through the many shrines, brushing past the angel even as both the Paladin and Freeblade charge the women, weapons drawn.

(The three cards that I have in hand are Divinity of Pride, Deathbringer Liege, and Scrubland.

When you attack, I allow Talus Paladin to hit, but block the Freeblade with Souls of the Faultless. You gain 4 life from the Paladin's hit and 3 from the Freeblade's, but SotF' effect makes me gain 3 more life and you lose 3. Net gain of 4 for you, net loss of 1 for me.

Anything else?)

(Nope, I'll edit in the discard in a moment. Just googling. Unless dethbringer is worse, expect it to be Divinity of Pride.))

((Edit, discard scrubland. Both of the others are horribly choices and this way I may have more time to deal with them....))

((Second Edit: While updating decks, I noticed a double up. In order to make sure I don't screw up again I'm reposting my updated deck here (Large Version), also means when I finally roll high I won't have to jump between threads))

Though that blow destroyed almost a dozen of the hostile spirits, they seem to grow in great numbers. Soon, a group of them work some mighty spell that seems to do nothing for but an instant; Then, the Talus Paladin simply fades from existence. It leaves no trace, because it was simply negated. It ceased to exist.

Then, the great beast once again strikes with nightmarish precision, once again draining Alexia's energy and transforming it into new spirits.

A four-armed, blue-skinned, older man sits in a field deep within the forests of Zendikar. Indeed, he appears to be within a snake's den. However, strangely enough, the snakes seem to have no desire to harm him, such is his serenity.

The Vedalken's eyes open slightly, as he feels the fluctuations in the ground typical of an intruder.

"Reveal yourself, and you may yet live."

The druid's eyes take on a faint cyan glow as parts of the grove begin to flood...

"Going around for a Feinting attack? I don't think so!"

A swipe of the Vedalken's hand, and the entire grove seems to rise far above the ground, forming a floating island with vines and such simply hanging down. One flying snake seems to circle the Island, dropping off two vipers from the sky to join the Sage's growing ranks.

((Nice))
The Planeswalker curses, still retrating, the Kor solidifies immediately, Waving his sheild wildly, looking for a target to hit with his mace. The Freeblade starts running to catch up with Alexia, and dispite the liquad, Alexia begins a incantation that calls a large stonework cat-like creture, which waits to jump from the large tree roots.

The Freeblade's weapon only finds a standard Viper this time; Hardly a serious threat to one with his level of personal power. However, one of his allies finds a cytoplast stored in the creature's body, which proceeds to graft itself to the ally.

He finds his body twisted, morphed vaguely into something resembling the Puma that supports him, before the Seal of Primordium targets him in particular, just before the mighty Lorescale Coatl makes its deadly strike...

Alexia himself is still being harried by the Pelagia Viper, which continues to harass him with hit-and-run strikes.

(Block with a Snake token. When my own turn starts, cast Cytoshape to transform your Makindi Shieldmate into a copy of your Stonework Puma. Then, sacrifice my Seal of Primordium to destroy it. Then attack with Pelagia Viper and Lorescale Coatl. End turn.)

The Freeblade's weapon finds merely another Viper, though the Thief manages to get the jump on the Sage of Oran Rief.

"Assassin, I grow weary of this game of cat and mouse! Show yourself, and we can save the both of us much effort."

Meanwhile, the Patagia Viper picks up a mighty artifact, carrying the sword in the tendrils that hang off of its body. It once again sinks its fangs into Alexia, but this time the strike also feels of both Fire and Ice, and two beams escape from the blade; One to the Sage, a beam of knowledge, and the other to the Agadeem Occultist, a beam of fiery death.

(Block Hada Freeblade with a snake token, and let the Thief through. When my own turn starts, play Sword of Fire and Ice, then equip it to Patagia Viper before attacking with it. Assuming you still can't block it somehow, you take 4 damage, and the sword both draws me a card and deals 2 damage to your Agadeem Occultist. Finally, spend my last mana on the Seal of Primordium I just drew. End turn.)
