Hey All:

I am trying to decide which martial disciplines are thematic for the Ranger and Rogue classes.

Its been decided that each class will only have access to 3 disciplines. Here's what I have so far:

Ranger: Shadow Hand, Tiger Claw, Diamond Mind

Rogue: Shadow Hand, Setting Sun, Desert Wind or Iron Heart

Any thoughts, advice?

Are you up to using homebrew? There are a couple good archery disciplines on this forum that would go well with Ranger.

Also, why are you ToBizing Rogue? Isn't that what Swordsage is for?

Homebrew is out for right now, though it may be opened up later. Depends if "by the book guy" decides to join up.

As for ToBing the Rogue, the Swordsage always felt more like a monk/wizard than a Rogue to me.

I'd say SH, DM and SS for Rogue, and TC, DW and SD for Ranger, personally.

Really, Stone Dragon for ranger. Thats an interesting choice! I would figure it for a barbarian, certainly.
