Netflix-streamable Movie Reviews

I've always been interested in reviewing movies. It seems like fun...but no one would ever read it of course! :smallsigh: So I had a thought: what if I review and rate all the movies I watch on Netflix and post it on here to help people decide what to watch?

Is this something people would be interested in?

At first I thought the thread was going to be about movie reviews one could watch from Netflix, but the real topic is better.

If you think you'd enjoy it, I think you should give it a shot. I can't really take advantage of the Netflix portion since I don't have it, but I wouldn't mind the help in deciding what to or not to watch in the future.

I'm not really an adventurous movie watcher, so I tend to just stick to what I know I'll like.

I'd be interested. I've been looking for new movies and shows to watch on Netflix, but I really can't decide. Plus, if a show doesn't catch my interest immediately, I tend to drop it - reviews will help me decide if I should wait for it to pick up, or if I should just drop it.

Is there a particular kind of show you'd mostly be reviewing? Sci-fi/fantasy, comedy, shows from Canada for 5-year-olds (an actual category of show that Netflix has offered me), or will you be doing a mix of everything?

I'll be reviewing a lot of Sci-fi, Fantasy, and Action & Adventure. However, I'll also stick to less mainstream/foreign films. If I were to review, say, the new Conan the Barbarian, it would probably be redundant with what you can find on rottentomatoes.com (which is done by more experienced reviewers anyways). However, that isn't to say that I won't review anything at all mainstream, since it would limit my options pretty severely.
