[3.5] Scaled Stalker

What are the easiest (preferably LA and CR increase free) ways to get the Reptilian and/or Dragonblood subtypes onto a Scaled Stalker (Miniatures Handbook - large monstrous humanoid, 8 RHD, LA +2).

Dragonborn of Bahamaut is not a good option as it wipes out natural armor.

Looking for RAW answers, rather than Rule 0. Primarily for use as an NPC, although LA/ECL matters almost as much as CR in this particular case.

Chameleon template (FR Underdark p. 83) is only LA +1 and adds the reptilian subtype. Also, a tongue attack.

A single level of Dragonfire Adept would give him the Dragontouched feat. Actually, you could swap one of his existing feats for Dragontouched. Otherwise, add the Draconic template (RotD p. 74) for only another LA +1.

One of the rituals in savage species allows you to add a subtype for some gold and XP and reptilian is one of the allowed ones.
This plus the Dragontouched feat should give you both with no ECL increase.

Are there any class or feat related ways to gain the Reptilian subtype, out of interest?
