Hello playground! I've been overseas for a few years and only recently returned home. Needless to say, I've needed an RPG fix. Starting this weekend (short notice, I know) I am going to be running a Star Wars Saga campaign set in the Legacy Era.

I have the basic ideas of my campaign worked out, but I'm coming to the playground to help me flesh out the details during the first few adventures. I am not worried about finishing it, or stuck, or anything of that nature. I have just seen a lot come out of these forums that I know I would never come up with on my own. It will be great to see some other ideas out there.

Here is the basic rundown that I sent to all my players to give them a basic idea.

"The campaign will follow everything that happens leading up to 130 ABY as canon, but once the game starts, we will be writing our own history. We won't follow the events of the Legacy comics, so as not to constrict things too much.

The basic premise of our campaign to start with, so people can have an idea of what to expect and a reason to be there if they care, is this:

Dan's character is a rising acolyte in the One Sith under Darth Krayt. He has managed to earn the attention of Darth Maladi, the head of Sith Intelligence. He has enough Force potential to make it as a Sith, so Maladi orders him to be tested. He is taken as the potential apprentice of Darth Kruhl. Darth Kruhl is a direct subordinate of Maladi, and one of the greatest assassins in the Empire. Maladi herself has been tasked with hunting down all the remaining Jedi, and has issued a bounty for every one brought in.

In order to test Dan to see if he can make it as an apprentice to a real Sith Lord, he is ordered to follow up a lead on a possible fugitive Jedi. To assist him, he has been given tentative command of a team of mercenaries that has done regular contract work with Imperial Intelligence (different than Sith Intelligence). That is where the rest of you come in."

The group consists of:

An aspiring human Sith acolyte
A Mandalorian human tech expert and slicer
A Mandalorian human markswoman
A Wookiee demolitions expert and assault specialist (Working with the player on a reason his character is allowed to be off Kashyyyk.)
A Lethan Twi'lek spy and infiltrator
A Human noble/aspiring officer (Imperial Intelligence agent)
A Rodian pilot

Lastly, the actual outline I have for this first story arc.

Munto Codru
The players will begin by heading to Munto Codru, following up on the initial lead of this fugitive Jedi. They are investigating claims of a discovered safehouse the Jedi held in the mountains. They arrive and after digging around a little, discover a base hidden in one of the many abandoned castles on the planet. The base is not just a safehouse, but the location of a cell of Imperial resistance fighters, formed only in the past year. The base is already abandoned, but only recently. Clearly, the resistance knew the Empire had caught on to them. The party gets through the base and finds a lead that takes them to:

Saleucami
On Saleucami, the party eventually locates the resistance cell that left Munto Codru. They have made their base in the Magma Caverns that the planet is famous for. Specifically, at the spot of a ruined Separatist cloning facility from the Clone Wars. They managed to salvage a couple pieces of the dated tech, and began supplementing it with their own to convert the facility into a medical center and research station. There, they are using it to study and create new synthetic organs and limbs. These prostheses and other devices are then shipped out to the other cell locations around the galaxy. They manage to get a hold of a single shipping manifest that showed parts heading to:

Nar Shaddaa
On the Smuggler's Moon, in the city of New Vertica, they track down another cell of this organization that is tasked with acquiring military grade weapons and ammunition from the Hutts and other black market contacts. After shutting it down, they discover that the largest percentage of the weapons by far is going to:

Tatooine
Once they reach the planet farthest from the bright center of the universe, they follow the weapons to a secret facility out in the harsh and unforgiving desert. There, resistance cell members are being trained to fight by a Mandalorian clan. The Mandalorians were honor bound to train them after their clan leader was defeated in single combat by a mysterious Jedi, one of the resistance's leaders. Eventually, either through force or negotiation (two Mandalorians in the party) they are put back on the Jedi's trail and head to:

Naboo
On Naboo, anti-Sith sentiment is very strong, and most citizens support Emperor Roan Fel's Empire-in-exile, but they are too afraid to do so openly. This is the resistance organization's main base. This is where they plan operations, where fully trained fighters come to ship out. The party tracks down the resistance HQ and finds their Jedi target there leading operations. Not only this, but they are shocked to discover that he has acquired a Padawan learner. This Padawan was discovered by the Jedi while on the run. His training is incomplete and he is arrogant, headstrong, and unpredictable. It is entirely possible for the PCs to convert him if they wish. Depending on their actions, the Padawan is either killed, turned, or captured and sent to be executed on Coruscant. No matter what, the Resistance cell ends up crushed with their supply line cut off, and the Jedi target flees. The party manages to follow him to the location of their final confrontation on:

Dagobah
The Jedi, ashamed of his failure, flees to Dagobah in order to hide and contemplate his next move, counting on the powerful Force Nexus there to mask his presence from Darth Krayt's agents. The party finds him anyway and confronts him on the swampy planet, and there they either capture him for Darth Maladi, or kill him and finish the job right there.

Now, if you took the time to read all of this, thank you so much! Obviously, I know where I want things to go, but I'm looking for help with interesting little details. For example, the Jedi is currently just the Jedi. No name, no identity, no stats, nothing. Similarly, this resistance organization is a mystery as well. I also don't have all the details planned for how the party will actually track down and accomplish each of these tasks. Any ideas, please throw them out there!

Thank you so much playground.
