Looking over Trentmonk's Ranger Handbook, I'm definitely liking what I'm seeing. Yet I can't help but notice a possible glaring flaw...

He recommends using Heavy Armor Proficiency later in game to pick up a mithral fullplate? But wouldn't that conflict with the Ranger combat style feats, thus making them inert for as long as your wearing said armor?

A mithral fullplate counts as Medium armor (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/equipment---final/special-materials#TOC-Mithral) for speed and Ranger combat feats. If you have no Heavy Armor Proficiency of course it's gonna be dumb.

I think it would be better to multiclass with Fighter or something similar instead of getting a feat on Heavy Armor Proficiency. Your call.

Yeah, I thought so but it always gets questionable around what the armor qualifies as.
