So I have all but decided on playing a wizard (transmutation specialist) no variants or ACFs. The plan is to go into Alchemist Savant (changing the eberron specific requirements into skill focus-alchemy) as well as Master Alchemist (swapping the need for an inferior artisan feat, for any artisan feat).
My question is, for a caster who will mostly be sticking to transmutation buff spells, are point blank shot and precise shot needed for staying near the back and lobbing alchemist bombs?
