Hey guys!
My question is as follows: which takes precedence between vulnerability and resistance to a certain element? Take the following scenario:
White dragons are immune to cold damage, vulnerable to fire damage (takes +50% damage)
A sorcerer passes by and casts resist energy (fire) on him, cancelling out the first 10 points of fire damage it takes from every attack.
Then, a second sorcerer casts Fireball at the dragon, cause, well, loot and XP and stuff. He causes, lets say, 20 damage.
How much does the dragon take?
a) (20-10)*1.5 = 15
b) 20*1.5-10 = 20
c) This is not an optimized character, you should trip him instead
