View Full Version : A hopefully simple Supermount Question

I'm building a 12th level Halfling Outrider Supermount character, using Devoted Tracker to add together Paladin's Mount and Animal Companion abilities onto a wyrmling gold dragon. For the most part, this is fairly straightforward. Please assume that, for the purposes of this discussion, I can consider this the AC of a 12th level druid.

I can't figure out whether this mount should get added stuff as per the 12th level entry in the table here (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/classes/druid.htm#theDruidsAnimalCompanion), the bonuses as if it were a 1st level druid because it's an alternative animal companion, or some other adjustment entirely.

Help?

By my reading of the Devoted Tracker feat, any adjustment for non-standard creatures is handled entirely on the special mount side - whatever your mount happens to be, animal companion bonuses get bolted on top of it. So, you get the animal companion stuff for level 12.
