Poetic Battle [PF]

So just been carousing the Bard and it's Archetypes today when I saw something interesting and wondered if it could work together.
The Savage Skald (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/bard/archetypes/paizo---bard-archetypes/savage-skald) Archetype with the Bardic Weapon (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/bard/archetypes/4-winds-fantasy-gaming---bard-archetypes/bardic-weapon) and Violent Performance (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/bard/archetypes/4-winds-fantasy-gaming---bard-archetypes/violent-performance) making a most interesting (to me) Bard
What I wonder about this is where it comes to Fascinate and Soothing Performance.

Because Violent Performance does not swap out or change them really, giving Fascinate a combat aspect and changing the name of soothing performance to revitalizing bloodshed.

But Savage Skald distinctly replaces them for Inspiring Blow and Berserkergang respectively (See the Savage Skald link) other than that however the two options blend beautifully with one another.

RAW it wouldn't work, Violent performance explicitly replaces Bardic Performance which Savage Skald modifies.

Also, Carousing? Did you mean perusing?

RAW you can't take Archetypes who change or modify the same class feature.
So technically this isn't possible RAW, because both Skald and Violent Performance modify Fascinate.

But who cares? It's a very fun combo that makes perfect sense. You'd simply not gain Fascinate (and thus couldn't use it in combat) or Soothing Performance as the Skald-Archetype says, as well as Violent Performance and Bardic Weapon.

Great combination, go for it - any GM (who allows 3rd-party material in the first place) should go for it, because it doesn't really combine any archetypes to make them too powerful (if anything you lose something, since you can't use fascinate in combat).

Well if anything, it'd be an NPC used by me, but I don't like tossing things at my PCs that can't be found regularly. Unlike a certain DM I have... but luckily he doesn't come here, that I know of.
