I'm building a Ninja/Shadowdancer and intend to prestige out at 7, but I recently learned about Dastardly Finish, a feat that lets you Coup de Grace stunned or cowering opponents. Problem is, it requires a Sneak Attack of 5d6, and Ninja 7 is only 3d6. Are there any feats, ninja tricks, or things I could use to get the extra 2 sneak attack dice, or am I stuck using levels/dips to do it?

Generic classes from unearthed arcana give a +2d6 sneak attack with a single dip

I think Assassin is the one class (at least from Paizo) you can dip to increase your sneak attack. The rest either continue your progression rather than stacking (Vivisectionist), don't advance sneak on the first level (Arcane Trickster), or can't be combined at all (Rogue + Ninja.)

Inner Sea Pirate (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/prestige-classes/other-paizo/i-m/inner-sea-pirate)

Another prestige with just skill related prerequisites. Adds 1d6 sneak at lvl 1.

A dip in Swordsage grants Assassin's Stance, of which gives you an additional 2d6 sneak attack damage as long as you maintain it as well as some other nifty maneuvers you can chose from. Tome of Battle.

Does no one actually read the title? It's a Pathfinder question, so unless noted otherwise in the original post, there's no Tome of Battle or Unearthed arcana. :smallconfused:

Sadly, there's no good way to gain extra sneak attack without serious investment. The most elegant way would probably be a dip into Assassin and another 2 levels of Ninja (not necessarily before taking a couple of Shadowdancer levels).

Other than that, you could try convincing the GM to let you buy/commission a magic item that grants extra sneak attack bonus. A +2d6 bonus should amount to roughly 18,000 gp, I believe.

Well, you two are halfway there, there are 2 other PrC's that could (theoretically) help. And as far as base classes, there are none (there would help anyway...)
[shameless plug] Check the Class Dipping/PrC guide in my Signature, the 3rd post has Ability breakdowns, including Sneak Attack (starting level and progression).
Master Spy (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/prestige-classes/other-paizo/i-m/master-spy) and Red Mantis Assassin (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/prestige-classes/other-paizo/n-r/red-mantis-assassin)

Given that you're a Ninja>Shadowdancer, I don't recommend Master Spy (2 feats LOTS of skills) or Red Mantis (LOTS of feats, must be LE).
But both Inner Sea Pirate and Assassin are easy to enter, so long as you meet the Alignment restrictions (Non-Lawful, and any Evil respectively).

So if you happen to be NE or CE, then you're set. if you are NOT LG or LN, then you still need +2 Ninja. If you ARE LG or LN... well...

The only other thing that might remotely (emphasis "remotely") help is the Precise Strike (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/combat-feats/precise-strike-combat-teamwork) feat, and a DARN good debate with your DM.

Beg your DM to let you take it early. Use puppy eyes.

I second this. Also make sure to buy some of their favorite food and beverage and complement them in a way to flatter to their vanity.

Heh, I considered it, but I usually do that for special magic items. Oh well, guess I'll probably just have to build that on a different character if the DM disapproves. Thanks for the input.
