are there other tier 3-ish casters for abjuration, conjuration, transmutation, and divination? or other subspecialties?

Abjuration, Transmutation, Conjuration and Divination don't have a base-class that comes to mind, but there are some great PrC's for them, and as long as you restrict yourself to that one school of magic, maybe two, it should knock you down to T3ish with a Sorcerer base.

Abjuration: Initiate of the 7fold Veil, Complete Arcane, and Abjurant Champion of Complete mage. Initate is more of a 'caster, while AbjuChamp is more of a gish using Abjuration for self-buffs and augmenting combative ability.

Transmutation has Master Transmogripher for shape-shifting, or Warshaper for the same. Not sure about any others save Master Specialist for wizard.

Divination actually has more Divine PrC's via Void Disciple, Contemplative, and Divine Oracle, though Unseen Seer makes for a great thief/caster that specs into getting info without giving any away (abjuration/divination mix of abilities)

For Conjuration, if you're looking for straight up summoning, there's a Pathfinder base-class called the Summoner, though it hangs out around T2.

You could always take the Generic Spellcaster out of Unearthed Arcana, stick to one or two schools of magic, and ask for one of the UA Wizard specialist effects as class features.

I like to think of the PF Alchemist and Summoner being Transmutation and Conjuration specialists, but it's not quite as deep a connection as, say, the Dread Necro.

There is also Bard as an Illusion/Enchantment specialist at tier 3. Admittedly it's weaker than Beguiler, but honestly, a well build Beguiler is tier 2.

I could spiffy up the formatting and add other suggestions to my earlier post in this thread (if you click the little number in the corner of the post, you should be able to set a direct bookmark), but I wouldn't really feel comfortable trying to set this up as a resource without getting the go-ahead from the various authors or doing some deeper balance/quality reviews.

If you'd want to do something more extensive, feel free to run with what's there, but I don't think I'm going to take it a whole lot further.

Nightstalker from Dragonlance: Races of Ansalon is Tier 3. It has Bard like casting but is specialized in Divination, Necromancy, and Conjuration: Healing. It has Trapfinding, Rebuke Undead, Advanced Learning (for Necromancy and Divination), and 3 Ghost Cohorts.

My Blood Mage was designed to be a somewhat Transmutation-specialized caster, in the same vein as the Beguiler and its ilk.

As far as non-home brew is concerned, if you look to Pathfinder, the Summoner is a Conjuration-focused class, and the Alchemist is Transmutation-focused.
