Arcane Hierophant questions

I talked with my dm and he allowed me to use a vermin themed druid, with anything animal related instead applying to vermin, and to a lesser extent other animals etc. I noticed both the variant bard that gets an animal companion on par with a druid, and the sorc/wiz variant that trades your familiar for an animal companion equal to 1/2 your wiz/sorc level.

I was wondering how to go about the level spread for a vermin themed divine/arcane caster, focusing more on druid. I may see about trading wild shape for something else. While powerful and one of the reasons to make a druid, it doesn't fit my character idea so it would be a wasted ability as is.

You can be a Bamboo Spiritfolk to pick up Trackless Step. Not a class feature really, but I would allow it. This will let you avoid taking Druid levels for entry, if that's what you are asking for.
