So here's a sort of game. Take a song, make a game/campaign concept based on said song. Bonus points for linking the songs.

Here's mine:
Come Little Children (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKlsUrfbiE0) cover by Katethegreat19

Plot: A backwater city is plagued by a rash of kidnappings, always in the middle of the night. Witnesses claim to see a figure made of shadows leading spellbound children into the city park, where they vanish into nothingness, all while a haunting tune plays.

The **** hits the fan when a PC's kid gets kidnapped and the party must pursue the kidnapper into a demiplane known as the Garden of Shadows.

Hmmmm... I got some ideas for adventures inspired by songs and the like. Lets see what i can remember. Will have to wrack my brain. I'm rarely sure of my inspirations as it is.

In the meantime, an honorable mention to This attempt of making Hotel California into an adventure (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=170215&highlight=hotel+california) (not mine, but i will get there some day)

Pretty sure the campaign I'm currently playing was based off American Pie. It's filled with powerful casters doing drugs so they use awful tactics and die against the PCs. A decent fraction of the campaign is also psychedelic visions that our characters can't interact with (you'd think our characters were high off LSD the way they constantly have visions).

Since D&D is my "other hobby" and music is my first I think I might have used much of the music I listen to to some affect.

For Example, I have started a campaign that is heavily inspired by the Turisas (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turisas) albums The Varangian Way (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Varangian_Way) and Stand Up and Fight (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stand_Up_and_Fight_(album)). Much of it is them starting as a Norsemen (or the fantasy equivalent), Druids, Rangers, and other "Northlander" oriented classes. They have to safely travel to a major settlement and become conscripted into the gaurd for the city.
