View Full Version : Need a Team

With the loss of a second laptop I am getting pretty frustrated with making my rules set. I had been lazily been working on it for a long time and lost the lion's share of what I'd done. Then, when I got done crying over the spilled milk (and my terabyte hard drive) I wiped away my tears and got started again. I got 4 pages day one. 17 pages 2 days later when I was off. Tried to save that and somehow got shunted back down to 4. Got back to page 10 after recovering from procrastinating again. This time it just didn't pretend to let me save and the whole machine decided it wasn't even going to pretend working any more. Well I'm over that depression and I'm going to use all this frustrated energy to focus again. However, I don't want to do it alone again.

The little side project I've been a part of has inspired me to get a hopefully functional team together that is willing to help me bring this thing to life. I explained a bit of what I'm doing Here (http://www.tgdmb.com/viewtopic.php?t=52002l) and here (http://www.therpgsite.com/showthread.php?t=23390). If this seems interesting to you hand you have some spare time, and perhaps some sample ideas, please feel free to hit me up. I only need a small team, like 3 or 4 people who are willing to work on this completely not for profit time sink.

I'm working on my own projects currently, but I just wanted to pop in and say, man, that really sucks. If that happened to me I would probably give up. Posting it on a site like GitP is one way to make sure it's backed up somewhere, even if your computer dies.

I'm sure if you did this, a bunch of people would have useful insights to give you, as well. Just start a thread with some more concrete information perhaps. Each post on GitP can hold about 20 pages worth of size 12 font in Microsoft Word.

I've been doing a lot of lamenting the last few days since it happened. This project will be going almost from the ground up. The links, if sifted through, provide a broad look at the game and can give people an idea of how I am. I don't need a lot of people. I don't have a set schedule I need this done on. I want a small team of people interested "enough" in what I'm doing to give it some thought and discussion. Everything else can be hammered out as time goes on. I'm not sure I can work with a team but I feel like that's what I NEED right now after losing so much.
