I've noticed ads in TGWTG videos I watch aren't showing up anymore (although I can still see banner ads on sites like here). I'm guessing adblock or some other plugin has been added, but I don't remember updating firefox 14.0.1 which I currently have, and I cannot sea any obvious named add on that would do such a thing. What is causing the ads to disappear and how do I alter the settings?

Either you have the most benevolent virus ever, or check your add-ons.

Adobe Acrobat, Google Update, NVIDIA 3D vision and VISION (apparently there is a difference), Shockwave Flash, Silverlight Plug-In, Windows Live Photo Gallery and Zeon Plus. Any of them block ads?

I've never heard of Zeon. That's PROBABLY the source of your problems.

I disabled it, still no ads.

Could be google update. If you disable that, and you're still not getting any ads (you poor, poor man) then the update for your browser has changed it to disable ads.

Not that either. Anyone else use the same version of firefox and seen something similar?

It might be Flash acting up, because I believe that's how a lot of videos and their ads are served up. Right now on my desktop using the latest Firefox and Flash for 64-bit, if there's an ad on a youtube video, I can't watch any of it because Flash throws an error of some kind. Works fine in MSIE, though. I'm also fine on my 32-bit laptop with both programs fully updated.
