Spack!

Thats all you remember before you awake. Its not real awakening. You weren't sleeping. Sort of like you awake from an extended daydreaming period.

THUD. Your head takes control of your body. You almost wish it hadn't.

You feel exhausted. Every limb in your body weighs like a boulder. And then there is this burning feeling.....oh right. Your bleeding and riddled with scars.

And your head feels so heavy. Like your brain is actually made from moist bread.

You feel grime, and dirt and heat clinging to your body like mud. You inhale. Its like inhaling a river of dust and hot.

Hot. Its so hot, so very blisteringly hot.

Most of the heat comes from the floor you are lying on. It feels so hot. Like a frying pan. You can almost hear your flesh sizzle.

And this hunger. Its like a knot. You only feel the hunger in your stomach.

With great difficulty, you open your eyes.

So see a tiny square room. You can't make anything out yet.

You see others laying on the floor like rags. You can see signs of breath. So their not dead....you think. You also see a door to your little 5X5 foot room. Everything seems to be made of metal.

Barakus sits up slowly, checking aching bones for any sign of serious damage. For all the problems they come with, mul bodies seem almost designed to take abuse - a fact that, right now, he's very glad of.

The world is reduced to greys by the darkvision inherited from his dwarven father, but he knows that most other races wouldn't be able to see a thing in these conditions.

"Anyone awake?" he asks softly. Crawling to the door, he tries to find and test a handle, certain it will be locked.

"Yes, regretably," responds Abel. "I can't see a damn thing, though. Am I blind?" he asks, a note of panic creeping into his voice.

[Malachite]

"Can't say whether you're blind or not," Barakus says bluntly. "Everyone looks in as bad a shape as I feel. If it gives you hope, I've not been blinded, it's just pitch black in here. Room's about 5ft square, so they've packed us in. I'm checking the door now."

[Scowling Dragon]

The door doesn't have a handle. And pushing does no good.

"So there's a chance I might not be blind? Super."

Abel does his best to get comfortable so as to sooth the pounding in his head and the ringing in his ears.

A lump of auburn and white fur curled up in the corner moans as he comes to. Uhhhh.... where am I?....

[Beowulf DW]

"Some place unpleasant. How many of us did they stuff in here?"

[Malachite]

"However many of us there are, let's see if we can get this door open," Barakus says. "Anyone remember why we're in here, anyway?"

Then it hits you. You don't remember ANYTHING.

Just then you notice the entire room is rocking back and forth

You hear some gas or such leaking through pipes, and you feel an occasional THUD every time the room rocks

The furry humanoid in the corner slowly comes to his feet. Uh... *THUD* ...I... is this a...? He starts to concentrate...

Felix falls into the walls of the room, banging his head rather hard and instinctively reaches for a belt where a weapon might be found, only to find none.
Unsure of why he did it he straightens again and moves his hand so it doesn't look like he just reached for a weapon.

Barakus hits the door heavily, having been trying to find some kind of weakness in it.
"By the Dragon's balls!" he curses. "What manner of prison is this?"He pounds a fist on the door angrily.
"What's going on out there?"

Your fist pounding coincides with another swing of the room. The door swings open. Apparently it was never locked.....And has no lock period. Just had no inside handle and opened onto the inside.

OOC:
To describe what happened:

Essentially shoving the door makes it bounce a little and open a little bit, then the rocking of the room causes it to swing open.

Its difficult to describe.

Barakus looks at his hand, then back at the door, then shrugs. He cautiously peers out of the opening to see where they are.

The fox person butts his head out the door first and looks down back and forth whatever hall or room it leads to. "I can't believe it! I'm on a mech! I'm on a mech! I'monamech!ImonamechImonamechimonamech!" His tail swishes back and forth excitedly.

Felis walks over to the door and clings to the hinges to try and stay in.

Barakus surveys the fox-man with bemusement.
"A mech, is it? Well, let's go find whoever threw us in a metal box and started jolting us around."He cracks his knuckles then extends a hand to his fellow... whatever they are.
"Name's Barakus. And what manner of creature are you? I've not seen your like before, nor heard tales of your people."

Abel chuckles lightly, "Haha. 'Tales of his people.' And his tail's going crazy. Get it?"

The fox person turns around to face Barakus. "I'm Vincent, nice to meet you and... Vincent looks down at his body, twisting and turning to get a good look at his tail. "uh.... I think I wasn't always like this maybe?.... I don't remember..... I do like the tail though.

"Abel, Vincent, Felix, good to meet you." Barakus replies (assuming Felix introduces himself :smallwink:).
He begins to explore what's outside the room.
"Well, I feel like a mekillot's just trodden on me and I can't remember why. Anyone else up for getting some answers?"

"Answers sound good. Food, water, and some strong medicine would sound even better, but I'll take what I can get for now," moans Abel as he drags himself up and heads for the door.

Retroactively Felis did introduce himself, saying he was an Elf called Felis.

I have an idea for my character taht he is ashamed of his human heritage, being told a lot by his elven mother that his human half is a part to be ashamed of and that he is inferior, this has led to him hating the fact he is part human and always introduces him as an elf, never saying his is part human.
But right now it just seems important to him to say Elf rather than Half-Elf.

Its pitch Dark in the small room you are in. Its about 15X5 feet.

After staring at the darkness long enough you can make some things out.
Your door is the middle of two other doors flanking it on the wall. There are also 3 more doors across of yours.

To the left of you is a ladder leading both up and down.

You hear moans coming from the door to the left to the front of you.

You hear even more hissing. Suddenly you start hearing clangs of sound coming down from the top of the ladder. Their coming closer.

Suddenly the whole room is illuminated by a flame coming from a pipe with a nozzle at the end.

The flame is candle light. It illuminates your faces. It illuminates Abels horrific disturbing face. And Vincents animal body.

Felis flinches slightly when he sees Abels face, but looks at Vincents body in interest.

[Malachite]

Barakus places his finger to his lips, then takes up a position near the ladder. His arm draws back, clearly ready to strike when the approaching person arrives.

(Readied action to iinitiate grapple/pin when someone comes down the ladder. If the pin is successful, exercise option to prevent speech.)

The clanking goes on for a while, then stops as you hear somebody get off the ladder on the floor above you.

The person gets of the ladder and you hear him walk on the floor above you with clangs with every stomp.

Roll a Stealth Check with a -4 penalty (For the rocking of the mech)

Vincent watches Barakus... unsure if he should stop the Mul from doing what he's doing...

Felis looks up at the Mul, wondering weather he will reach the top or fall off.

Looking around at the others, Barakus smiles and winks at them, miming clapping a hand over his mouth with eyes wide as though surprised. He motions to the other cells and mimes banging on the doors and shouting, then points to the sound above them and traces a route down the ladder and once again acts grabbimg the man.

In the corner of the room what seemed really dark even with the light sparkling A black form could be distinguished what seemed to be human. Before any one even noticed the human it quietly woke up and without a word and heard the footsteps, after that he hid in the corner again.

You hear....sounds as the something/ someone gets onto the ladder....And you hear them ascending yelling:

"Kutrada! Kutrad!" And banging something metal against metal as the somebody ascends.

Vincent pushes past the Mul and scurries up the ladder, trying to grab onto the something's ankle and drag it down.

You make out that the person climbing up the ladder is of a short stature and completely bald wearing armor of some sort (Its too dark to make out).

Barakus also attempts to get up the ladder and grab hold of the fleeing figure if possible.


Let's see, under the new rules I imagine I use one of the two dice to move to him and the other to initiate the grapple. Is that right?

After having Barakus bump into him on the ladder Vincent attempts to Stealthfully climb to the top to make room for him.

Anyway, the person continues to climb, yelling out more loudly now that somebody tried to grab his foot.

Barakus grabs the ladder and begins climbing as fast as he can, trying to catch the other person's leg when possible and initiate a grapple.

Whenever it's my turn:

Abel shouts at the figure climbing up the ladder, attempting to get him to pause long enough for one of the others to get a hold of him.

"Hey, look over here ugly!"

What exactly should I role for this? Bluff? Intimidate?

For the sake and perpous of speeding things up, lets say you all climbed to the floor that the other Dwarf reached.

The floor is slightly bigger, yet still cramped. Some of you needed to stay near the hatch on the floor to make room for all of you.

You see that the guard has called another one of his mates (A human mate) on the same floor. They look well exercised and healthy.

The Mule lacks an eye, so he has a eyepatch. He brandishes a whip. He lashes at your direction, hoping to get you to back off. The other human brandishes an axe (Contrary to the token which says hes brandishing a bow).

The room is illuminated by candlelight. The candles are melted into the walls. They seem to be about 5 minutes away from flickering off altogether.

The room is filled with a horrid, putrid stench, emanating from the two tubs in the room. The two tubs, seem to be filled with some disgusting quivering mass, looks like some kind of rotting meat.

The two opponents seem to be guarding a metal door. This one HAS a knob.
