The first day of spring came and gone without notice. Maddie was busy helping prepare the farm for the new season and had no time to train. She heard some of the working men talk about a captain that grew up in Mohora, saying he'll be coming soon with his entire unit; The captain, Teo Colbert, is a famous weapon master that is in charge of a recruit and train unit, scouting the kingdom for able men and woman to join the military.

Maddie's mother would never let her join the army and besides, they are probably looking for people with some experience, and Maddie wasn't even with the militia.

No, today Maddie had an important task. She was to groom and take care of their horses. There is a festival in two weeks and their horses are meant to go on display, perhaps even race.

[Savannah]

Maddie grumbles slightly as she heads towards the tack room -- she wanted to sneak away and learn more about Teo Colbert today.

Once she's gathered her grooming supplies, however, Maddie smiles. She heads out to the pasture, calling the first horse in for grooming.

One of the farm aids brings out the first horse, Abraxas. A bald face chestnut steed that towers above Maddie and is ready to be groomed!

The farm aid would aid other Maddie for the extra +2 to handle animal.
