Earlier this week, a friend and I had just got out of a session together and we were discussing several different Tabletop RPG's. I mentioned that it would be entertaining to play a genre savvy character in one of these games. That got me thinking even further. Who is most genre savvy in an Tabletop RPG? The players. Especially if they've done their homework in past games.
Basically, what I'm trying to get at is, what are your opinions on directly integrating the players into a game as the PC's? I already have several ideas down on paper, but I want some opinions on how one might go about doing this.
