View Full Version : Issue Setting Up Server (Minecraft, but I don't think that bit matters)

I have two minecraft servers on my computer. One uses Tekkit, the other is Vanilla. I've port forwarded them to different ports, and indicated it in their properties. The Vanilla one has just the IP of the server, whereas the other has :25564 at the end. Despite all this, the tekkit one refuses to work if I set my IP for it in the server-ip section of the properties. If I leave it blank, it works, but it sets the ip to 0.0.0.0 and is local only.

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? This is really frustrating and I really really appreciate your help.

I can't really help you much in that area, but I'm pretty sure this isn't where this thread should be. This forum has a spot for video games, and more than that, it has a Minecraft thread.

Honestly, your best bet is to go over to the Official Minecraft Forum, and ask around there. They will know how to help much better than anyone here. (Or, if you don't want to, check out the Official Minecraft Thread on this forum).
