Sword of the arcane order on mystic ranger??

What specific wizards spells are 'good' for mystic ranger build that has everyone pretty much saying that SotAO is to mystic ranger as Knowledge devotion is to Duskblade?


Also, would it be worth it to pump wis through the roof for mystic ranged ranger? Moon-warded ranger's sub level has armor of the senses that gives wis to all ACs with restrictions similar to monk ability ( can wear light armor in this case ). Would it worth it to pump wis if couple with a monk's belt for doubleWIS + 1 to all ACs?

Depends on your role as a SotAO Mystic ranger, since you can use all wizard spells you could go BFC, buffs, gishy spells,etc. so it mostly depends on whatbkind of character you want.

I personally wouldn't pump wis past 16 if you are planning to use SotAO, since you spells are int based (and frankly Int is far more useful than wis in general), second I don't think the monk belt would stack with thr Moon warded levels, though it depends on the wording of the Sub level.

On the first, everything that makes the Wizard or Wizard gishes amazing makes the Mystic Ranger amazing up until level 10. So things like Greater Mirror Image, Benign Transposition, Draconic Polymorph, Wraithstrike, Glitterdust... all that crazy stuff.

The second depends on whether SotAO is in play. With Sword of the Arcane Order, you just need enough Wisdom to stumble by until ECL 6, and then will primarily use Intelligence for the rest of your career. Without SotAO, Moon-Warded sub levels are pretty cool (but whether and how they should be implemented is a bit sketchy with the variant).
