*spoiler* Voidling and Mortuus please do not read any more as while your characters may have found out some info knowing the rest will spoil things (and cause books to be thrown at you)

As most of you who have DM'ed will have learned over the years is that even if you plan an NPC to be a social encounter or too deadly for the PC's to fight just now without the wonderful thing of x things don't always go that way.

Since I'm short on time I was hoping you guys could give me a few pointers on the following...

I was meant to have built this guy for the off chance that the PC's will attack him now (they are Warlock level 9, Wizard 10, Knight 10, Wizard 11 npc blaster, Ranger 9) and I'll have a lot to do before we next play so any help would be welcome.

I need to have stats for a Level 20 Elf Druid (Very very Old) this guy has been imprisoned for the last few hundred years and the PC's just let him out by giving him a nice big demon heart to eat.

Full 20 levels of Druid.
32point buy out.
What buffs should he have on him (without needing extra feats)?
What spells should be memorized as standard?
Magic items? (Please bare in mind he has been described as wearing rather plain hide Armour so nothing too flashy or odd looking, though he did just come out of a cave so he could have picked up something hidden)
No animal companion (though he is guarded by a huge earth elemental)
The Druid is True N, and will most likely try and disarm/stun/hold the PC's rather then out right kill them.
Also having just eaten a big magic artifact demon heart thing he has the Half-Fiend Template so level 24 really.

Cheers again, I mean the PC's know he is really rather powerful... that's why they freed him in order to enlist his help. I just have a bad feeling they might try and kill / capture him once he's out of his prison.

There's a great number of different things you could do with a level 20 druid build. Is there any specific aspect of the class you want him to focus on? Wildshape specialist, blaster, summoner, battlefield controller, buffer, healer?

Was thinking more of a big-ol-shapeshifting-meany though I wanted to avoid too many different books.

Again I'm not planning on having this guy get into any fight or even a long one. Even if he does fight the PC's he knows that his Wardens will be coming since he is still in prison and just braking out (A druid prison of thorns in the middle of the wilderness)

Druids get this spell called word of balance, which is like blasphemy for LG, CG, LE and CE creatures. You can opt to lower his caster lv to just enough to paralyze the entire party.

Else, you can just use his innate blasphemy SLA and lower the caster lv to the point where it doesn't kill the PCs outright.
