Reversals

I just noticed an interesting (to me, anyway) reversal.

In strip 65 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0065.html), V and Z are having their first wizard's duel. V is about to lose when he comes up with a desperate move which keeps him from losing.

In their latest duel (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0802.html) Z is about to lose when he comes up with a desperate move that keeps him from losing.

ETA: Rather than defeating their opponent, both desperate moves just removed their opponent from the battlefield to an arbitrary other location.

Any other similar reversals in other battles or encounters?

It's not exactly a reversal, but:

Here, (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0393.html) Nale has a dagger against Elan's rapier and gets his ass kicked heavily through Dashing Swordsman class ability.

Here, (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0761.html) Tarquin has also a dagger against Elan's rapier and walls him calmly.
