Threatening Whips

Is there any way to make a whip or whip-dagger threaten their area? And/or at least qualify for flanking?

Alternatively, are there any other 15-foot reach weapons without size-changing shenanigans or ToB stances?

The Lasher prestige class from Sword and Fist allowed you to threaten within 5', but not within the full 15', unfortunately. Also, pretty sure Lasher is among the PrCs that got lumped in with Exotic Weapons Master in the 3.5 update, making it an illegal choice for 3.5.

The Deformity (Tall) feat will add on 5' of reach to you, but it requires a semi-useless pre-req feat and an Evil alignment.

You could get a Longspear with the Long Reach (http://dndtools.eu/feats/unapproachable-east--33/long-reach--1785/) feat. It doesn't allow you to make attacks of opportunity at 15 feet, though.

I don't *think* that would work for flanking, though, as it's only on your turn. Hrmph. Also, not evil, and not in a setting where grafts/symbionts/whatever are viable.

I don't think it works, but I've seen people using Exotic Reach from Exotic Weapon Master for this

Dragon Compendium has the Awl Pike. Or I think that is what it is. It is exotic and it has a 15 ft. reach though you don't threaten 10 ft. or 5 ft.
