I was wondering, is there any way to transfer ownership/control of a dominated individual?

i.e could I dominate someone, only to sell/trade/use as a bargaining chip to someone else later?

If your control is unfettered by distance or time then all you need to do is give them the order "you must now follow all of the commands of (insert name here)" and your set. Inform them they need to give a similar order to sell again is so desired. otherwise I'm not sure if there is any RAW for it outside of releasing the domination and allowing another character with the ability to dominate take control.

Ok, thanks that's kinda what I was looking for, I just wasn't sure if there was any RAW on it.

Oh, that should work, as they're stuck obeying any commands you give them, which should also include "obey this guy".

Mind you, there's a few catches:
1) If you're using Dominate Person (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/dominatePerson.htm) (or any spells that reference Dominate Person for how they work), then YOU will still have to spend 1 round concentrating on each target every day, or they'll start saving again.
2) The original dominator gets a mental link through which to send orders. Later people don't.
3) Like with golems (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/golem.htm) (see the Combat section, of all places, for how to transfer ownership), the original dominator can resume control at any time. Unlike with golems, the original dominator just has to think about it from anywhere on the same plane.

That last one makes it a pretty raw deal for the "buyer." Imagine buying a car, but the dealer can disable the engine remotely and take it back anytime he feels like it and for any reason.

I have a germ of an idea how Psionics can get funky with this. Instead of selling the slave itself, sell items/dorjes of Co-opt Concentration (unlike wands, dorjes can store powers higher than 4th level.) The buyer starts by Co-opting the seller's Dominate, then the seller co-opts the buyer's co-opt, etc. They can even free up their actions (for a few rounds) by Soliciting and then Co-opting from their psicrystals. Not sure how to keep it going overnight, but co-opting the co-opt can keep it going nearly indefinitely.
