I'm working on an elven ghost who was a second-level sorcerer in life, devoted to defending his homeland. I don't know the sorcerer spell list all that well, and at second level he won't get many, so I'd like to make them count.
He'll be madly harassing a fourth-level party that's almost entirely martial, with very little magic to defend themselves with. What would be some good spells to look at?
Also, if a sorcerer becomes a ghost, what happens to his familiar? Does it automatically become a ghost as well? If so, is there some clever use for a ghostly familiar?
