Quick question, do invocations taken by dragon shamans have to worry about armor?

No they don't. There's a reason they get medium armor proficiency. It isn't so they can't use it.

They're published in different books, so I wouldn't have banked on it, but:

"Using this invocation follows all the standard rules for Dragonfire Adepts, except that you ignore any arcane spell failure chance."

ok, newbie question.

how does the dragon shaman get invocations? is this even the same class as the dragon shaman in PHB2? cause I'm looking at that and he doesn't get them.
:smallconfused:
shenanigans?

Yeah found the actual text, they get it as a 5th level change of their auras.

For the cost of being stuck with only 6 auras to pick from, you get one least invocation , avoiding armor issues.

Think I might use darkness

Do you think it would be, unfair to allow it as a level 1 , instead of level 5?
