Eo explains; in short, she found herself at a ruined building a mile or two outside of Inside with very little memory of anything and injuries to her arm, leg, face, and throat. She limped into the worst of the slums and was lucky to be found by Maera, who took her home and fixed her up, though her voice could not be fixed.

Talina sighs, gently squeezing her friend's hand.

"Alright. But if my guess is right, I don't particularly care if you were having a little bit of fun before I came to see you, okay?"

She giggles.

She pulls out a pale blue bikini and smiles.

Naera smiles back, and goes to get changed.

Nycca is totally fine with changing right with her friend, and shows her to the hot tub!

Naera fairly openly admires Nycca as she changes, since, after all, they're together, so it's not like they haven't seen each other plenty of times before now, and happily heads up with the bat-fey, nestling against her once they get in.

She sighs, relaxing and spreading her wings as she lays back, cuddling her friend.

Naera cuddles back, relaxing as well, and gently kissing the hollow of Nycca's throat, since that's where it's easiest for her to reach, due to the way she's holding her friend.

She eeps at that and squirms a little, reaching to gently scratch her friend's back.

Naera smiles happily, looking like she's almost purring, and nuzzles her girlfriend's cheek.

She scratches her upper back with one hand and her lower back with the other, sighing happily.

Naera ends up rather boneless, snuggling against Nycca, and rubbing her wings.

Naera nods absently, as she's rather distracted, and doesn't see the need to gain weight in any case.

After all, she may still only weigh half as much as Nycca, but you can't see her ribs from across the room anymore, so she's fine, right?

She grabs Naera, mock-nibbling at her ear.

Naera laughs, nipping at Nycca's shoulder, though she's careful to keep it light, since her teeth are a bit sharper than most people's, and it could hurt otherwise.

"Not if I eat you first!"

Nycca giggles, kissing her forehead.
I'm glad we can be totally silly together.

Naera nods, smiling as well, and kisses her cheek.
"So am I... I've missed having people to go a little nuts with."

"Just a bit, yes; she'd probably have jumped through the roof if I did something like that to her.

And I know. Honestly, I don't even mind, really, it's just nice to not have to worry about her getting freaked out sometimes. It doesn't mean I resent having to normally, just that it's nice to be able to just relax, you know?"

Nycca nods and hugs her.

"By the way, while we're on the topic of people we're going to marry, when are you and Tali going to actually make things official?"

"Only if you want to... I mean, I don't want to pressure you into doing this, obviously, it just hadn't occurred to me that you wouldn't be planning on it, with how close you two are."

She giggles and tickles her friend.

"Then do it. Considering how much she loves you, the worst that's likely to happen is that she'll say she's not ready for that quite yet.
Naera giggles as well, tickling back a bit, though trying to keep things at a level where they can still talk easily.
"And if you proposed to me, I'd talk to Vo and Tali about it, then come back and say that I'd be happy to marry you if they were okay with it, or that while I'd be glad to, they would rather I not, so it would probably cause too many problems for both of us to be worth it, if they weren't."
She grins back.

Nycca giggles and, since I'm deadtiming soon, reaches for a curtain.

That seems to make sense, yes; Naera is probably curled up against Nycca, smiling happily, and seeming perfectly content to simply cuddle for now.

Naera is, for the moment, still curled up against the bat-fey, and peacefully sleeping, a soft smile on her face.

She yawns awake, stretching, and snuggling closer.

Nycca sits up, cuddling her friend and lover into her lap, her hands going over her playfully, tracing familiar scars and looking for new ones.

Naera has quite a few new scars; the most notable are one starting at the top of her right shoulder, and coming down at an angle and depth that such that it ends on the back of her left thigh, one running along the length of her spine, and one deep one from a large puncture wound on either side of her neck, as well as a few new ones carved into her left arm, matching the row of symbols already there, the most recent of which is only half-healed.

She seems to enjoy the attention, and, if Nycca has any scars of her own, will trace them.

Naera cuddles back, stroking her wings, though after a bit, she reaches over to her clothes, and starts rummaging through them.
