The demonkin pulls a piece of paper with a row of symbols similar to those on her arm across the top, and a knife, out of them, and goes to hand them to Nycca.

Naera smiles as Nycca works, glad that she's good at this.

Nycca nods, finishes, and gets some stuff to make sure the cuts stay clean.

Naera lays down on the bed while she waits, to make sure that Nycca has easy access to the cuts.

She puts the antiseptic on and wraps them up nice and safe.

Naera goes to hug her, albeit somewhat gingerly, because of the new cuts.

"I'm good! How's the baby?" She pats Karyana's rather full baby bump; Tsiln has been ever so nervous and hovery around her of late, but also so very excited!

For that matter, I don't know if Karyana has actually met Patty...

In any case, when it eventually does end, she's probably started giving the ghost-girl a mildly wandery massage, though she's not going nearly as far as she normally would, physical constraints, that, for once, she can't just shift away, likely making much beyond this somewhat awkward, at the least.

So you get hired to fight in wars and stuff?

"Exactly. Occasionally someone will hire some of my company as bodyguards, or something of the sort, but that's pretty much what we do."

"I was one of the people Talina got out when she saved Nycca," Naera explains, going to slip into Vo's lap as she does. "Vo was the doctor there before Talina took over, so we looked her up once things had settled down."

Paisley lets it die back down to cuddles again. "You feeling okay?"

She'll see about fixing Karyana one of Tsiln's patented Motherhood Sandwiches: half a small steak+one cutlet of chicken parmesan+4 pierogies+6 strips bacon+pepper jack cheese+butter+onions+salami.
Basically, being an Execuloth mom is a sea of meat and deep-fryer oil forever.

That same sandwich is sufficient for Tsiln, Aseti, and Zwei. If they're all hungry. And Zwei was training really hard earlier. And Tsiln forgot breakfast in her worriedness.

Paisley takes a bit to nibble at as Zwei trots in, going to kiss all of Karyana's heads.

Naera, having been out of the Nexus for a couple of years, simply shrugs, snuggling closer to the sopholich.

She squeezes her hands gently.
