Ok taking a little inspiration from the order of the stick I'm looking for monsters that never made it past there first book in talking monsters that were in 1st that did not make it to second monsters that were in 2nd that never made it to 3rd and monsters that did not make if from 3rd to 3.5 any and all input is appreciated.

You probably didn't get many answers because to answer your question, one either needs to be familiar with multiple editions - which the majority of board denizens aren't - or to search through lots of books.

Well, there are tons and tons of monsters that have never been 'officially' updated from the edition they were first in. But most make an update sooner or later. They are often used as filler for monster lists.

But the list of Ye Old Monsters is huge...
