Am curious, how or do you allow a sneaky paliden, before they start going down the shadowbane lines or grey knight? Any sort of legitimate way?

I'm pretty sure Champions of Valor, either in the book itself or the web enhancement (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/we/20060327a) has something there.

Yeah, Shadow Cloak Knight, gnome-only, web enhancement.

As far as I know, that Gnome Paladin has the best version of Hide in Plain Sight in the game (the benefits of the Su. version, but with an Ex. tag).

Skill Knowledge feat adds two skills to your class skills, which allows you to gain hide/move silent. Or you could grab UMD and move silent, using scrolls scrolls/wands of invis. And then come potions.

Be a tibbit. Being able to wander around as a house cat is a great way to not arouse suspicion in many circumstances.

Thank you all, the idea was not about how to do it mechanically by skill points, but how to do it by RAW because of paliden code.

looking over the enhancment now

You mean an assasin palladin?

Use one of the above means and to get past the code challange him once you find him. Single combat having bypassed all the rest should he accept.
But then the problem becomes what if he doesn't.

Well, you're going to have to explain what it is exactly you want then.

For all its strictness regarding who the paladin can pal around with, the paladin's code has a strangely broad amount of leeway for how he goes about murdering anything that pings as evil.

The paladin can't lie, but there's nothing stopping him from sneaking around the shadows to shank a misanthropic bureaucrat in the back.

D&D is weird.

Paladin's code is over interpreted. Sneaking past an army of Orcs could be construed as sparing the lives of orcs.
