Blackguard Questions

Hello everyone! I have a question involving a Blackguard's Command Undead ability. It doesn't state in the book how many times they can use it per day. It does say that they are effectively 2 cleric levels lower though when rebuking/commanding. Does this just mean that they have unlimited uses but are weaker at it than a cleric?

Also- for determining the Cleric level is it by Character Level or Blackguard levels? (aka. a lvl3 Blackguard is effectively a level 1 cleric no matter what his character level is)

He commands undead as a cleric of two levels lower, and that includes uses per day. Of course, uses per day isn't usually affected by cleric level, so it's just 3+Cha.

The real question, in my mind, is whether it's as a cleric of two levels lower than your Blackguard level or than your character level.

References to "level" in a class write-up always refer to class level unless specifically mentioned otherwise. That's why the Blackguard gets the Command Undead ability at level 3 (effective Cleric level 1).
