Hello all! Seems I'm finally gonna DM a game with some friends of mine. We're all somewhat new to Pathfinder and D&D, but quite familiar with RPGs in general. I don't expect a High-OP game, but I'd like some advice on a few rules.
Note: We're playing an E6 campaign, using the Wounds and Vitality system and a simplified skill list if that makes a difference.
Now, my question: If Spontaneous Casters use a Spell Point (http://berinkinsman.wordpress.com/2011/08/17/pathfinder-a-spell-point-system/) system and Prepared Casters retain Spell Slots, is there a significant shift in either Caster-types' power/versatility?
Regardless, what would be the effect of introducing the ability to regain a few spell slots or spell points through a 5-10 minute rest?
My thoughts on the Spell Regain are that only a % of spell slots or points can be returned this way. But what does everyone else think?
