Basically just ways you have used good spells (or not so good spells) in innovative and creative ways. If you just have a good spell combo that would be good too. Any class any spell casting capabilities but please explain what kind of spellcaster was used in your situations.

Starting here (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=253363)is probably a good idea.

I posted most of my faves over there, but here's a couple since we're doing touch:

corporeal instability (spc) sor/wiz 4. I really like it's 3.0 name, Simbul’s skeletal deliquescence, much better, but YMMV. turns the enemy into a wet sack of meat by liquefying his bones. they get a new save every round, but it takes their standard (even if they fail!) so it really helps put the enemy behind in the action economy, and every round they're in it, they take a point of wis drain.

wood rot (spc) drd 4. very useful utility spell for druids, archivists, and chameleons. while plant creatures are rare (and when you encounter them, you're usually supposed to help protect their forest from looten plunder, not kill them) its combat intent is not usually brought up (but 3d6+cl damage as a touch isn't bad) the ability to instantly destroy anything under 6' in diameter or 3' radius of volume of wood is pretty awesome. create trap doors, walk through walls, undermine buildings by destroying supports

this last one isn't a touch attack out of the box, but with a little investment, it can be.

antimagic field (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/antimagicField.htm) is a tried and true spell, but without being a cheater of mystra or the even more obscure spur lord, it's problematic to use offensively.

enter lords of madness's Ocular Spell. while used heavily by the cheater of mystra's cousin, the twice-betrayer of shar, it is not used like this:

load up your eyeballs with an antimagic field (DMM it if you want, or just eat the cost, either way works) and wait until you cross swords (so to speak) with a caster. Get him within the effect (ocular spell transforms AMF into a ray with a range of 60 ft) and zap him! all his spells are off, and so are the spells of anyone in his immediate vicinity. Summons are gone, BSFs are unbuffed, and his super special awesome scepter of whatever is now just a stick. he turns back from a one-winged angel into a halfling in a bathrobe, and your boss fight becomes a lot easier. plus he can't run away from it, it's centered on him.

Door of Decay (Complete Champions)-Teleport between two undead you have control of. Range of 100 miles per CL, with no hard Cl cap.

That is awesome. especially if you worship the right deity, you get an extra 4 CL for the spell

Imbue Arrow from the 2nd level of Arcane Archer works nicely with Antimagic Field.

Regal Procession - Spell Compendium. This is basically the Mount spell, but instead of just 1 horse you get horse/cl. This is a great spell to just block off squares in combat. It's really fun for naval combat. Just fill the deck of the enemy ship with horses to block movement or perhaps cause the ship to sink/list from too much weight on one side of the ship. Even better when combined with the feat Invisible Spell.

That is, like, the one really interesting trick the AA has (at least it's the one everyone brings up), which saddens me.

Anyone have a list of other situational tricks you can pull with AA?

Gnome Illusionist racial substitution level 1
Specialist Illusionist Wizard, Improved specialist, etc.
Shadowcraft Mage
Earth Spell
Heightened Silent Image for every single spell slot
You are for all practical purposes a Sorcerer with every Evocation and most conjuration spells on your list
You can eventually cast spells at over 100% quasireality

Recently I cast Message on an opponent pre-combat, and used Intimidate at a goodly range. I think I accidentally asked it to do something too dangerous, so despite a great roll, it didn't really work out -- but it is still something I'm going to try again.

I play a lot of 1st level, and so getting good mileage out of my 0 level spells is important to me.

Chain Reach Launch Item (with Arcane Thesis) is a third level spell that launches 8 things to medium range. The things can basically be any weapon you would normally throw, like a splash weapon or throwing axe, etc.

It requires significant investment, but it gets a TK like build off the ground by ECL 6, rather than 9.

Here's a trick I pulled on my 21st-level gnome sorcerer/fatespinner/archmage, against a BBEG and his wizard cronies.

-Cast Maximized Time Stop
-Cast Prismatic Sphere
-Cast Widened Prismatic Sphere around that sphere (using Sudden Widen feat or a Rod of Widen spell)
-Cast Superior Invisibility
-Cast Extended Control Winds (Tornado) in the center of the Spheres, using all five points of Spin Fate to increase the save DC by 5.
-Cast Widened Forcecage around it all, and cast Quickened Dimensional Lock on the whole area.
-The Dimensional Lock and Control Winds effects are both using Mastery of Shaping, so it ignores the square in which I'm standing.

Suddenly, all the enemies are trapped within a swirling, colorful prison of death. They are constantly battered against the outer sphere.

Then, due to my Arcane Domain (Fire) feat, my Improved Metamagic feat, and my ring of Epic Wizardry VI and VII, I cast fire seeds and Empowered Fire Seeds 12 times each, choosing the holly berry bomb option for both, and cast invisibility on them all.

The cronies and BBEG, already weakened and infuriated, finally break through the outer sphere, still being blown around. They got about twenty times angrier at realizing that there was another sphere inside the first one.
By the time they got through the second sphere, only the BBEG was left. Sadly for him, I had already teleported out of the sphere, and left a programmed image in my place- it was an image of me, mooning him and laughing my arse off. He then entered a state of rage that would rival that of the finest barbarian, and began attacking the image. The image acted as if it was killed, but then, just as the BBEG began celebrating his victory, the image rose up, leapt into his arms, and gave him a french kiss. I cast telekinesis and quickened telekinesis to send all of the bombs to the location of the image's mouth. I then willed them to explode- hilarity ensued, as did the boss's death.
