This is my first time dming and my group are all experienced players. I set up an encounter against the 4 level 3 characters (so an APL of 3) the enemy is a single level 6 trap making kobold rogue. He has a bonus to hide of 20 and can take 10 on his hide checks as long as he is in caves. He wont be attacking unless necessary, mainly just salvaging used traps and setting new ones while the pc's try to find him. Is this just an annoying CR5 encounter or should I give them extra experience? All the traps are part of his equipment
