Just started replaying Melee.

Anyone else want to see Event Matches brought back in Smash Bros 4? That Captain Falcon race was INTENSE! It'd also be one of the easier DLC's to keep updating if you don't want to add more to the Roster (though, let's be honest, that's what we all really want).

Considering that the mode was in Brawl as well, I'd assume they consider it a standard part of the series now, so yeah, it'll likely be in the next game.

I miss all the combat bonuses from Melee and the score count at the end.

The only question is: do we take over this thread, or do we make an entirely new thread? And should we go by established rules (including banning Metaknight), go with rules decided per match / tournament, or do whatever?

I would love the **** out of this. That I waited so long to respond just shows how tired I've been recently, but I always will have energy to spare for Smash Bros.
