Tower Smash: Bab +1, Tower Shield Proficiency
Benefit: You may make a Shield Bash with a Tower Shield using the following statistics.
Martial Two-Handed Melee Weapon
Shield, Tower, 1d6 (s), 1d8 (m), 20/x2, Bludgeoning
Normal: You cannot make a Shield Bash with a Tower Shield
I'm putting this up here just for reference and power level gauging. It seems fine to my group. I'm making a character for a game I've just joined, ending about 10th level. The idea is a Fighter (Shielded Fighter (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/fighter/archetypes/paizo---fighter-archetypes/shielded-fighter) or Tower Shield Specialist (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/fighter/archetypes/paizo---fighter-archetypes/tower-shield-specialist)) who wears light armour, with high dexterity and a Tower shield. The shield is a new kind for our group, not only does it have an ability similar to the movement granted by the "World Wave (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/w/world-wave)" spell (Granted on a much smaller scale, Basically it's a surfboard in that respect) but it also features something new that we've been working on to go along with the Razored and Spiked special shields, Basically an increase in damage by one step but bludgeoning damage, we don't have a name for it yet (feel free to give suggestions, we're thinking it needs the -ed suffix).

The Main issue is which class to take, and which feats as well. The main ones I feel that are needed to have are: Tower Smash (spoiled above), Improved Shield Bash (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/combat-feats/improved-shield-bash-combat---final), Shield Focus (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/combat-feats/shield-focus-combat---final), Two-Weapon Fighting (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/combat-feats/two-weapon-fighting-combat---final) (to Qualify), Shield Slam (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/combat-feats/shield-slam-combat---final), Greater Shield Focus (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/combat-feats/greater-shield-focus-combat---final), Combat Expertise (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/combat-feats/combat-expertise-combat) (if Shielded Fighter) or Power Attack (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/combat-feats/power-attack-combat---final) (if Tower Shield Specialist)
For those who work better with a Level by Level approach
Human Fighter
Level 1: Tower Smash
Human: Combat Expertise or Power Attack
Fighter 1: Improved Shield Bash
Fighter 2: Two-Weapon Fighting
Level 3: Power Attack of Combat Expertise
Fighter 4: Shield Focus
Level 5:
Fighter 6: Shield Slam
Level 7:
Fighter 8: Greater Shield Focus
Level 9:
Fighter 10:

For the increased bludgeoning: "Weighted" or "Enameled" might work.

Did you mean which race to take? Sounds like you want to be a straight fighter, so that would obviously be the class.

I'll take those into consideration, they both are good ideas, thank you.
And I figured Human, unless there's a better suggestion, it's not like I don't have the feat space. I have room for 11 feats (Without being Human), and have selected 7 (I guess there's nothing wrong with taking both Power Attack for Damage and Combat Expertise for Defence)

I suppose the heart of the question is which is better in the long run:
Shielded Fighter (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/fighter/archetypes/paizo---fighter-archetypes/shielded-fighter) or Tower Shield Specialist (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/fighter/archetypes/paizo---fighter-archetypes/tower-shield-specialist)?

What about the Brawler? +1/+3 for shields is better then the +1/+1 Shielded Fighter gets.

I suppose, but this isn't so much an up and in your face character.
If it were Brawler 7/Stalwart Defender would be perfect. Very up in your face.
But this is more of like a Knight who fights using a shield, the idea already got a little bit of laugh so he now has the nickname "Shield-maiden", although it's mostly in the eye of the beholder, but Brawler to me is a gruff and tough dude. The Shield-maiden is a knight wearing parade armour and an armoured kilt with a Tower Shield on his back and a Rapier on his hip, chivalrous and honourable to a fault, who only really brings out the shields combat abilities when the opponent gives no other option. Which is different from the very first incarnation of it as well, a small quick character who carries a giant shield and uses it in interesting ways as the main form of offence and defence.

Though those are REALLY Nice Numbers
3rd level brawler
Power Attack
Close Combatant
18 Strength.
Tower Shield

+3 (Bab) + 4 (Strength) +1 (Close Combatant) -1 Power Attack
1d10+3 (Close Combatant) +6 (1 ½ Str)+3 (Power Attack)

+7 to hit
1d10+12

.... *sigh*

My ideas underwent Mitosis.

This shall be the place for the Half-Orc Brawler/Stalwart Defender.

The Shield Maiden is going with either Something 5/ Steel Falcon 5/Golden Legionnaire 10 or a Paladin with as many Oaths as I can stack, or both, if it can work that way. he rest. He'll have a Steed and Steel, and most likely a shield.

A rapier with a tower shield ?

That's the point.
