Weretiger question

So am using this

The were tiger template am confused.... if your afflicted and not natural, you can only take two levels instead of three.

The part I am confused on, can you take this entirely separate(( if only afflicted)), or is this stacked on top of the table beneath it, that has the 7 levels of Tiger the Lynthrope class. Making you take an entire 9 levels, before you can go into a player class.

and am sorry If i missed something in reading it, my mind is shutoff due to allergies.

As I understand it, you have the option to multiclass into the larger table if you would like.

EDIT: Ok, further reading yields this: You can take 2-3 levels in the smaller table for the level adjustment, depending on if you are a natural or afflicted.

Then, the larger table seems to be a class you can multiclass into, IF YOU CHOOSE, to improve your Tiger Form.
