Are there any other than Battle Herald?
Alternatively are there any that are focused on mounted combat.
Currently playing a 4th level Gendarme Cavalier "The Shieldmaiden" if you follow my posts but I wanna transfer into some cool prestige class if one exists.

Check out the mammoth rider. Not compatible with small spaces, but that huge mount and expanded mount list just at the first level is tasty. The flavor may not fit what you want, though.

Other than that, theyve added a lot of PRCs finally, and Ive yet to go through all of them

Yeah, I have a Mounted Fury Barbarian Mammoth Rider in another game.
This is more of the royal knight idea. He has Parade Armour, A bastard sword and a Lance, nothing wrong with Mammoth rider, but all the same looking for something nice, and I've seen most of the new stuff. it looks pretty good.

Well, Gendarme still has the Expert Trainer feature, so If Horse Master is allowed that opens up more Flavorful options that otherwise don't advance your mount.

Depending on you alignment and flavor, the following could be useful:
Battle Herald, requires 1 level of Bard/Cleric/Monk (with appropriate archetype)
Chevalier (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/prestige-classes/other-paizo/c-d/chevalier), only 3 levels, must be Good
Hellknight (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/prestige-classes/other-paizo/e-h/hellknight), a "pure lawful" paladin type
Low Templar (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/prestige-classes/other-paizo/i-m/low-templar) mainly cause it is Full Bab and you already have Mounted Combat
Noble Scion (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/prestige-classes/other-paizo/n-r/noble-scion), cause Knight in Shiny Armor

it sounds like you are already looking the part, now just RP the part and you don't need a prestige class to validate your character as a royal knight.

you already belong to an order as a cavalier. you could ask your DM to make that class feature more a part of the game, and help you to climb the ranks of your order, through prestige you earn through play.

higher ups in your order could grant you titles and lands, and you could eventually have cavaliers under your direction.

of course dipping other classes or PrCs wouldn't remove you from your order, but they aren't necessary for a cavalier to be a "royal knight".

So, this is the second time I'm typing a response, the first one was a long winded version of "Does anyone know of a Pathfinder 'Purple Dragon Knight' and then I settled for deciding I need to take a level of Bard for Battle Herald, the only issue being "Which Bard"

Since you're only taking the 1 level, the Casting won't be worth anything, Bardic Knowledge will be a minor boon, and Battle Herald only stacks with Inspire Courage anyway. So as long as we keep Inspire Courage, then nothing else matters.

Mechanically, there are only 2 good options for a 1 level dip. 3 decent if you dip 2 levels of Bard. Sadly, none of the 3 probably match your Flavor though.

Arcane Duelist (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/bard/archetypes/paizo---bard-archetypes/arcane-duelist), loses Bardic Knowledge, gains Arcane Strike feat, which is a Swift Action for +1 Damage. It isn't much, be then again, we aren't expecting much.

Buccaneer (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/bard/archetypes/paizo---bard-archetypes/buccaneer), loses Bardic Knowledge and you can deal Nonlethal damage with no To-Hit penalty.

Sea Singer (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/bard/archetypes/paizo---bard-archetypes/sea-singer) 2 levels, gets a worse version of Bardic Knowledge, and loses Versatile Performance, but gains a Familiar (Monkey or Parrot only). Remember, a Familiars HP/Saves/Bab scale with Character level, you only need 'Wizard level' for the +INT, +Natural Armor, and Special Abilities.
Being mainly a Cavalier, this means near Full Bab, and d10 based HP.

In the Non-Bard area we have:
Sensei (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/monk/archetypes/paizo---monk-archetypes/sensei) Monk, which is really not recommended due to having VERY low synergy.

And last, and probably BEST we have, Evangelist (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/cleric/archetypes/paizo---cleric-archetypes/evangelist), unlike Bard, you CAN cast in Medium/Heavy armor, and you pick up 1 Domain of your choice. There are some decent 1 level choices:
Darkness: Blind-Fight feat
Protection: +1 all Saves
Travel: +10ft. movement
Void: +2 to Saves vs. Mind-affecting
Inquisitions:
Persistence: Step Up feat
Spellkiller: Disruptive feat
Torture: +2 on Intimidate checks

Overall, I'd actually go with Cleric over Bard.

Yeah, that's my bad for thinking only Bard gave me Inspire Courage, Evangelist is the absolute best option for the scenario. The only thing is which domain. I'm inclined to think Glory or Nobility.

Try a one or two level dip in Sohei. You get to take mounted feats with no requirements. Normally you would meet the requirements, but Mounted Skirmisher (Lets you full attack even if your mount moves) requires 14 or so ranks in Ride while Sohei can get it at level 1.

I was going to go that route with my cavalier until I was told of the change to charging attacks, and how it now only multiplies the first attack's damage in a charge.

also, the level 8 order of the sword's ability to add mount strength to their damage is amazing. by that time a lot of mounts have 20+ strength's so that would be an extra 15+ damage on a lancer's charge. (get them a strength item for even more).. altho I might take sohei after level 8 for other ride feats like trick riding and indomitable mount.

now I guess I am just going for the 1 big hit build. anyhow, I always thought it was mechanically inconceivable to get multiple attacks with a charging lance.. they are simply too unwieldy.
