8th level forum Character.

So, i'm starting my fourth game by forum(its usually just 3 posts/week) and i'm not very inspired atm. For now the only thing i know is we are 4 players lvl 8 in faerun, and the game will move around selune-sune tears. I'm looking for something with flavor but usefull in most areas(a bit of everything) as the games usually take very long and i don't want to lose interest because my character sucks so much. My other PC are a wizard, a factotum and a bard, so more arcane people are a no.

My stats are 16,14,14,12,10,9 and can use Faerun books, all completes and PHII, and core of course. Atm the other players havent made a choice either so its pretty open.

In a faerun good-aligned game, you should always consider Harper Paragon as an option.

Mystic Ranger 5/Harper Paragon 3 looks quite decent.

Then its a no, I can only use the books i said,looks like i was late in choosing, right now we have a paladin and an hexblade, the last one said he was going to pick someone who can heal if I dont.

Ok, I have narrowed it down to a Barbarian/Scout charger. ¿Given that, how would you mount it? I'd count it as a final character, not progression as this will probably end maybe at level 9-10. Might go scout/ranger(swift hunter) archer too, not sure, open for sugestions and builds.
