So am fiddling around abit, I am a Human with chemelon levels, and wondering if I would suddenly not qualify for it or even lose the levels, if I took the Dborn route?

Just a quick rules question.

You know, we have a thread for questions like this.

You still count as your previous race for requirements as a dragonborn, so you would still qualify for your Chameleon levels.

True, I have used that service before, and seem my post got drowned under.

Alright, thank you for your time.

Dragonborn retain any subtypes they had before the transformation. [Human] is a subtype. A normal human is a Humanoid[Human] just like how an Elf is a Humanoid[Elf].

Therefore, once you become a Dragonborn you are still a Humanoid[Dragonblooded][Human].

The entry also specifically says, "You still count as a member of your original race for the purpose of any effect or prerequisite that depends on race. (RotD pg10)"

As long as able learner is your 1st character level feat, not your human bonus feat, you'll still be a chameleon. Since it's probably not marked on your sheet which of your two level 1 feats is actually the human bonus feat, you shouldn't have a problem.
