Halfling Archer/mounted fighter

So, I'm in a D&D 3.5 group, playing in Eberron. I want to build a halfling using the subrace in the ECS, nothing special, but they ride dinosaurs. I also think their favored class is ranger.

We do over land combat as well as in dungens. Our DM is very gracious and allows all books, provided we have copies of the rules.

I don't care to be super overpowered, looking mainly for flavor ideas.

Assume stats are:

The standard build for this sort of thing is Paladin 5 / Beastmaster 2 / Wild Plains Outrider 3 / Halfling Outrider 10 with the Devoted Tracker feat. If using the Natural Bond feat and using WPO to advance your Animal Companion this ends up with an Effective Paladin Level of 15 and an Effective Druid Level of 21.

Besides Beastmaster (Complete Adventurer), Wild Plains Outrider (Complete Adventurer) and Halfling Outrider (Complete Warrior), in Eberron levels in the Vadalis Beastkeeper (Dragonmarked) are also an option.
