((Current altplot: the thing with Dani and Carrie and Karyana and it's a thing dude.
Carrie and Karyana are both homeless gals having been taken in by Dani, a sister (?) at the local abbey in a coastal town.
They are eating bacon and being very cute right now.))

Karyana nods.
"Pretty much that, yeah. Even we don't eat that quickly, and we've been starving for months..."


Dani blushes, giggling softly.
"Well, I have a hyperactive metabolism, so...I kinda have to eat a lot," she says, apologetically almost.


Carrie giggles and eats, patting her head.

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana smiles, and snuggles against Carrie's side, eating as well.

Repost, since I was ninja'd by the new thread being edited in.

And Dani can't help but d'awww at her new friends, as she pours some additional [local-equivilant-of-]orange juice for them!

Carrie blushes a little, drinking her OJ!

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana frowns a little, trying to tell if Carrie is actually uncomfortable, and drinks her juice as well.

Dani, meanwhile, finishes her meal, heading to the kitchen with a skip (skipping!) to clean the dishes.

Cleanliness is next to godliness, after all.

[Beans]

Carrie is just a little blushy, not really unnerved. She goes to help Dani!

Karyana will help too, since she feels like she ought to do something for Dani after all she's done for them.

Dani giggles and goes to shoo them out of the kitchen at first, but will quickly succumb to the help.
"...it's nice having somebody else around here."

[Beans]

Aren't there other people here?
Carrie blinkablinks.

[Lady Serpentine]

"Yeah, I would have thought you'd need help maintaining someplace this size... And why don't the people here at least stop in every now and then, even if you don't, considering how nice you are?"

[The Bushranger]

"Oh, they do, but they never stay...I'm the only abbess here," Dani says, looking a little sad. "Have been for years. I keep saying we need more people but they never come..."

[Beans]

Carrie puts an arm and a wing around her, frowning.

Karyana frowns as well, going to hug her.

"Why is it they don't send you more people?"

Dani hugs her new friends back tightly!
She looks a little happier now too.

"I don't know. I think they want me to fail or something like that."

Carrie sits down, holding the adorable redhead in her lap.
Can't fail if we're here with you.

Karyana nods, sitting down next to them, and resting her head on Dani's shoulder, though she doesn't offer much in the way of verbal support, unless a quiet murmur of contentment counts.

[The Bushranger]

The little redhead blushes more, and somehow her smile has returned.
Very broadly.
As she hugs Carrie tightly. Then Karyana. Then both.
"Thank you!"

[Beans]

Least I can do...
She smiles gently.

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana nods again, hugging them both as well, and going to kiss Dani's cheek.

"You're a good person, and we owe you... Like Carrie said, it's the least we can do, especially since it means your order can't cause problems about us staying here."

[The Bushranger]

And Dani blushes more!

"Thanks. Really. It's been so long since I had people here, had real friends..."

[Beans]

Carrie kisses her other cheek.

"If you do, we'll be happy to come stay with you..."

"C-could you?"
Dani's blush could make Bob the Tomato envious right now.
But she looks hopeful. And smiles.

Carrie blushes too.
Probably won't all fit into the bed we were in last night, though.

Karyana giggles, and blushes as well.

"We wouldn't have offered if we weren't... And I'm sure that we could figure out something, dear. It might involve getting pretty close, of course, but I doubt any of us would mind... Though it would probably be nice to have more room to move around if we want to, yes."

"Well, it would be pretty close, but closeness is nice, and I can probably arrange for a comfy and large enough bed...oh dear, I need to do the morning rituals!"

She eeps as her brain catches up to the time, and realises that she's still in her nightie.

[Beans]

Carrie lets her get up, a little confused but pretty happy.

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana gets up as well, also looking rather happy.

"Do you want some help with them?"

[The Bushranger]

"Um, you're welcome to watch, but I have to do it myself. Since, clerical stuff and all," Dani says apologetically as she hurries off to get changed.

[Beans]

Carrie nods and waits for her to do that!

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana shrugs, not minding that Dani has to do it herself, and presses against Carrie's side as they wait.

Dani emerges in her habit and heads to the sanctuary, where she lights a candle in every window, then a candlelabra behind the altar.

[Beans]

Carrie watches her work silently.

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana does as well, not wishing to interfere with the rituals that their new friend is conducting.

[The Bushranger]

Dani says a quick prayer at the altar, bows respectfully, then heads over to her new friends with a smile.

"...I'm technically supposed to be here for anyone who comes in, but nobody ever does, so...I guess that's all until evening..."

[Beans]

Carrie nodnods.
Okay, now what do we do?

[Lady Serpentine]

"See about getting our stuff moved into one room before it gets late?", Karyana suggests, smiling.

[The Bushranger]

"That's a good plan," Dani declares, grinning happily.

[Beans]

Kary, I dunno about you, but all I own is what I'm wearing in the first place.
Carrie shrugs.

[Lady Serpentine]

"Pretty much. But I'm sure Dani owns more than we do, yeah? So if we're all going to have to change rooms, then she'll need to get it shifted over, even if we don't..."

[The Bushranger]

"Or you could just share my quarters," Dani suggests with a blush.

[Beans]

That works for me if it works for you!

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana nods, and hugs Dani, going to kiss her cheek as she does.
"Sounds good to me... I didn't realize they'd be big enough for three people, is all."

[The Bushranger]

"Well, it'll be cozy, but it'll work!"
Dani giggles cheerfully, and kisses Karyana's cheek, then Carrie's, going to hug both girls VERY tightly indeed.

Carrie hugs back, starting to blush quite a bit.

Karyana hugs back as well, seeming quite happy indeed.

After a moment Dani lets go and, with extra spring in her step, hurries up to the living area to start getting things arranged!

Carrie follows to help her with that!

And thus cleaning is done!

Dani's quarters are indeed cozy, but her bed is slightly larger than those in the guest quarters. Three should fit! If they don't mind snuggling.

Carrie smiles, not minding snuggling at all. The very idea of having someone to snuggle with is, at least in her mind, a blessing.

Karyana smiles as well, not minding the prospect of snuggling with Carrie and Dani at all; having someone she trusts enough to snuggle with, and the idea of some human contact for once, is very nice to her as well.

And Dani agrees as well, so they're all good! Hurrah!

She does eventually trip while carrying an armload of linens though.

Which go EVERYWHERE as she flails!

Carrie goes to help her, giggling a little.
Careful now!

Karyana goes to catch her as well, smiling.

"You alright, hon?"

Dani giggles and nods, appreciating the help up.
"Yeah, I'm good...just have to pick all this up now!"

She goes to help get them picked up.
By the way, Dani, how old are you?

Karyana does too, and seems fairly interested in the answer to Carrie's question as well.

"Um, I'm 26," Dani says, tilting her head curiously. "How come?"

[Beans]

Really? You're pretty youthful-looking for someone 9 years older than me.
She giggles and hugs her redheaded friend.

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana giggles as well, and goes to hug them both.

"Yeah, I would have expected you to be around our age..."

[The Bushranger]

"Awwwww. I hope that's not a problem!" Dani chirps, giggling cheefully. "I just kinda stopped looking older at some point!"


(Off for a bit now. Food run while my connection goes all derpatitus...)

Karyana shakes her head, kissing Dani's cheek.

"I don't mind either... It was a surprise, but not a bad one. After all, you're still the same person, and you look just as good, so why would it be?

And the little redhead blushes at the mention of her looking good, as she collects the last of the stray linens.

Carrie giggles a bit at Dani's blush.
How old are you, then, Kary?

"I'll be eighteen in a few months, I think... I don't really know anything more specific than that, though."

[The Bushranger]

"We need to get to planning your birthday party!" Dani gushes, quickly hurrying torwards the kitchen to inventory cake-making supplies. RIGHT THEN.

She does what she must, because she can!

[Beans]

She said months, not hours, little abbess.
Carrie tries to pick her up to halt her CAAAAAAKE CAKE CAKE CAKE IS THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERSSSSSSS rampage.
If she succeeds...
Oh gods you're even cuter when you're being picked up Kary come here and hold her.

[Lady Serpentine]

"And even then, I don't know what day it would be..."

If Dani did, in fact, get picked up, Kary will be quite happy to come over and hold her.

Dani squeaks in surprise as she's seized by Carrie.
And flails adorably!
"No! Let me go! I need to be sure we have enough for the cake!" she protests, before breaking down in mad giggles!

[Lady Serpentine]

Kary smiles down at her, shaking her head.

"We have time, dear. Really."

[The Bushranger]

"But if I don't check now how will I know what we need in time?" Dani protests, still giggling.

[Beans]

We'll manage, don't worry.
She giggles and pats Dani's head.

[Lady Serpentine]

"Trust me, you can check later, dear. It's not going to take four months or so to get together enough stuff for a cake for three."

Kary giggles as well, leaning over to kiss her forehead.

[The Bushranger]

Dani blushes, nods, and looks to have been stifled from her cake rampage.
"Well...alright. I guess!"

[Beans]

So what do we do since we're not all up in an explosion of cake?

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana opens her mouth to suggest something, then, remembering how people were treating Carrie, and her reaction to others, cuts herself off, looking slightly embarrassed.

[The Bushranger]

"Well, I don't know - hey, what's wrong?"
Dani looks to Karyana with a concerned expression.

[Beans]

Carrie frowns, concerned about Kary too.

[Lady Serpentine]

"Well, I was going to suggest we go out somewhere, but it's us, so... Yeah. That would probably be, y'know, a really stupid idea."

[The Bushranger]

"Don't worry. I wouldn't let anything happen!" Dani quickly declares.

[Beans]

I think it's best not to risk it...
Carrie shrugs.

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana nods, going to slip an arm around Carrie.

"Yeah... I freak out around people, and everyone here seems to hate Carrie for some reason, so it just wouldn't end well. Trust me."

[The Bushranger]

"Well...alright."
Dani frowns.
Then brightens.
"There is a bathing pool in the abbey though!"

[Beans]

Carrie perks up at the idea of that!

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana smiles, and nods.

"That sounds nice, and unlikely to end in hallucinations or bloodshed, so it works for me..."

[The Bushranger]

"Then, c'mon!"

Dani giggles cheerfully and turns to lead the way.

[Beans]

Off Carrie goes and deadtimes.

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana follows as well, seeming happier than she's been in a while.

And Dani leads the way down some stairs to a small, remarkably ornate room with a warm-looking pool in the middle. It's cozy for three, but not too much.

"Um, we have some swimsuits if you want them. I usually skinny-dip though...with nobody around and all that!"

[Beans]

Skinny works for me if that's okay.
Carrie shrugs.

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana giggles, and nods.

"That sounds good to me too, if you don't mind, Dani..."

[The Bushranger]

"Not at all!" Dani says, completely cheerfully, as she sets about stripping down.

She needs a tan, but clearly takes very good care of herself...

[Beans]

Carrie... well.
She's awfully scrawny, and those scars... she's quite pale as well, seeing as she keeps out of the sun and out of sight so often.

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana is at least as thin as Carrie is, and covered in old burns, thin knife cuts, as well as other, less identifiable, scars, and, like the others, she's quite pale, for much the same reasons as Carrie.

[The Bushranger]

Dani makes a mental note to slip healing potions into their orange juice.
As she smiles.
Gives each of her new friends a big hug.
And then dives into the pool!

[Beans]

Carrie slips quietly in, a little nervous.

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana hugs back, and then slips in next to Carrie, going put an arm around her.

Dani, meanwhile, seems as if she could have been a mermaid in another life. As she swims expertly.

[Beans]

Carrie spreads out her wings, soaking in the water and enjoying the warmth.

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana doesn't swim all that much, partly because she's not used to it, and partly because her range of motion is so limited in some ways, though she does watch Dani appreciatively.

And the short redhead might be showing off, just a bit. :smallcool:

She does eventually surface and swim over to her friends, grinning ear to ear.

Carrie's blood seems to have made an abrupt migration to her cheeks.

Karyana giggles, and grins back at Dani, giving Carrie's hand a reassuring squeeze as she does.

Dani giggles cheerfully.
"What? You look like you're all blushing or something!"

[Beans]

Carrie stammers, but it's a fairly endearing sort of stammer.

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana smiles reassuringly at her, gently squeezing her hand again, as she tries to figure out exactly what Carrie is trying to say.

Dani giggles endearingly. And can't resist giving Carrie a hug!

[Beans]

She hugs back, blushing harder.

Very.

Karyana seems rather surprised, but in a good way, and goes to hug her as well.
"Thanks. And so are you, Carrie.
Though I admit, I wouldn't necessarily agree with you about myself..."

"Thanks. And you're both very pretty too!" Dani declares emphatically, pulling Karyana into the three-way group hug!

[Beans]

Carrie blushes and nestles a little closer happily.

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana blushes a bit as well, not really feeling that she deserves the praise, but happy about it nonetheless, and kisses Carrie's cheek, smiling.

Dani kisses Carrie's cheek. Then Karyana's cheek.
And squeezes tighter!
"This is so great. I'm so glad I met you..."

[Beans]

Carrie just relaxes quietly, giving a little sigh.

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana nods, kissing Dani's cheek as well, and snuggling against her friends.

"I'm glad I met you both too. This definitely beats hanging out in a hedge all day..."

[The Bushranger]

"Yeah, really. And you can stay here as long as you want," Dani declares, clearly indending to stay in the skinny-dipping snuggle as long as they want too.

[Beans]

Carrie smiles gently, then frowns when she re-sees how Kary's injuries reduce her range of movement.
We do need to get those looked at...

[Lady Serpentine]

"I appreciate it, but there's probably nothing that can be done, considering most of them have healed this way already..."

[The Bushranger]

"Well, you never know. But it's up to you."
...Dani's hands might get just a little wander-y...

Carrie eeps if she is the target of wanderations!

"If you think there's a shot at getting me fixed to some extent, sure, I guess we can try..."

If Dani's hands wander in her direction, she'll stiffen for a moment, as that brings up some rather unpleasant memories, then slowly start to relax.

Dani notices the stiffness, and pauses, just letting her hand stay gently in place until Kari relaxes.

...Carrie gets a little more wandering.

...There's only one hand wandering on each of them, right? Or has Dani decided to take over the role of "Girl-with-too-many-arms"?))

(One on each of them. Dani only has two arms and no tentacles no matter how much she'd like it otherwise. :smalltongue:)

(Nor can this Karyana give her any more. Though the other one would be happy to, I'm sure... :smalltongue:)

Carrie gives several more little squeaks of mild alarm.

[Lady Serpentine]

Dani might find the water trying to grab the wrist of the hand wandering over Carrie.

Karyana, meanwhile, will take a few minutes to relax, though she doesn't seem to mind Dani's hand staying where it is, nor will that one be grabbed for by the water.

Dani eeps, and blushes as the hand is grabbed.
"Sorry. I didn't think...I can stop..."
She leaves the hands in place, clearly ready to remove them.

((Alas, this Dani is the one more likely to like such changes. :smalltongue:)

Carrie sighs and ruffles Dani's hair.
'S alright.

[Lady Serpentine]

When she apologizes and pauses, the hand dissolves back into normal water.

Karyana nods, smiling weakly at her.

"It's just that it brought up some bad memories... I don't mind it from you, it's just a reflex."

[The Bushranger]

"Alright." Dani nods, clearly understanding, but doesn't resume her hand motions.

She does leave her hands in place, though. In...interesting...positions.

"If you ever want to....I dunno, talk or anything. I'm here. But if not that's cool too!"

[Beans]

Carrie relaxes and snuggles closer.

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana relaxes as well, resting her head on Dani's shoulder, and nodding.

"Maybe at some point, then... For now I think I just want to forget the past year or so."

[The Bushranger]

"That's alright," Dani says, somehow managing to avoid appending an exclamation point, and kisses Karyana's cheek, then Carrie's.

Hands still in place.

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana is fine with all of that, and, in fact, reaches up after a moment to hold Dani's hand where it is, possibly trying to reaccustom herself to this kind of contact.

[The Bushranger]

Dani smiles encouragingly at that, her eyes sparkling with hope and reassurance.

[Beans]

Carrie gently squeezes Dani's other hand.

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana smiles back, and, after a minute or two, releases Dani's hand, giving a faint nod to her as she does.

Dani squeezes Carrie's hand back, and at Karyana's nod, starts the other hand slowly caressing, gently and softly.

[Beans]

Carrie snuggles close and giggles a little.

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana still seems a bit tense at first, but as Dani continues, she relaxes, and snuggles more tightly against her new friends.

"Thanks for coming after me, Carrie... I'm glad I didn't end up missing all of this."

[The Bushranger]

"Thanks for coming back," Dani whispers, starting her other hand wandering just a little on Carrie as well as she snuggles close!

[Beans]

Carrie sighs happily and snuggles closer.

[Lady Serpentine]

"You're welcome, Dani... Of course, at the time, the only reason I did was that I was worried for Carrie, since she's got the wings and everything, and I thought this was like the last temple I was in, but still.

Oh. And I, um, wasn't entirely truthful when we met... Sorry."

[The Bushranger]

"You don't need to be. It's alright," Dani whispered, keeping her hands slowly and gently moving and closing her eyes with a smile.

[Beans]

Aw, look, Carrie dozed off!

[Lady Serpentine]

"Okay... I just wanted to make sure you knew, and that I told you my name is actually Karyana, not Aernis," Karyana replies, hands starting to wander very slightly as well, though on seeing that Carrie has dozed off, she pauses, smiling. "We should probably get her dried off and into a bed, huh?"

[The Bushranger]

Dani squirms a little, smiling cheerfully at the wandering hands. Then giggles softly. "Yeah, I guess we probably should. She's so adorable!"

[Beans]

They can get her dried and in bed easily enough, but she doesn't seem to want to be left alone in her sleep.

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana goes to slip into bed next to her, then, smiling somewhat, and snuggling as close to the winged girl as possible.

Dani smiles and slips in on the other side of Carrie, snuggling close.

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana's smile widens a bit, and she reaches across Carrie to take Dani's hand.

[Beans]

Carrie nestles close in her sleep, making small noises of contentment.

Dani takes Karyana's hand, squeezing it gently and smiling brightly.

Karyana smiles back, leaning over Carrie to give Dani a quick (or not, if Dani decides to prolong it, though Karyana won't on her own) kiss goodnight.

[Beans]

Carrie sighs happily in her sleep.

[The Bushranger]

Dani holds the kiss a little, but not too much, and smiles cheerily afterwards, giving Carrie's cheek a peck.

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana doesn't seem to mind, and kisses Carrie's cheek as well, then settles down to sleep, unless something would prevent her from doing so.

Carrie will be watching them sleep in the morning!

Dani is snuggled up to Carrie's side in the morning, adorable in her sleep.

Karyana, for a change, only had one nightmare, and that one was probably mild to not wake the others up, and she able to deal with it fairly well on her own, which is probably why she's snuggled as closely to Carrie as she is.

[Beans]

She smiles and watches them sleep.

Dani yawns cutely, snuggling closer, one arm across Carrie.

Karyana slowly starts to wake up, snuggling closer as well.

Carrie gently strokes their hair, one with each hand.

"G'mornin," Dani murmurs sleepily, as the first birds of morning chirp outside.

Karyana smiles sleepily, reach up to stroke Carrie's hair in return, smiling.

"Hey..."

[Beans]

Hey, um...
Last night was kinda a blur... what happened again?

[The Bushranger]

"We went swimming, snuggled in the pool, you dozed off, and we brought you here where you didn't like it when we tried to put you in bed without us," Dani says with a giggle.

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana nods, smiling.

"That's pretty much it, yeah. How're you doing? You sleep well?"

[Beans]

Mmm, slept real nice...
Just wondering whether there was some other reason we were all in the same bed.
She blushes and smiles shyly.

[The Bushranger]

Dani giggles, blushing a little, and shakes her head.
"Um, no, but...the snuggling was really nice..."

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana shakes her head, blushing a bit as well, and smiles back, going to kiss Carrie's forehead.

"Nah, nothing like that, dear. But like she said, the snuggling was quite nice...

You up for some breakfast?"

[Beans]

Carrie smiles and nods, stretching.

Dani grins and hops out of bed to go fix breakfast.

Still in her swimsuit.

In any case, Karyana stretches as well, then slips out of bed, offering Carrie a hand up as she does.

Indeed they did not!
Carrie is helped up and hugs Karyana, blushing rather heavily.

Karyana smiles and hugs back, also blushing quite a bit, though she seems perfectly happy.

Ah. Right.
...in that case, Dani just slips on an apron and nothing else...

It's not long before the smell of bacon is detected.

Carrie actually puts some clothes on and follows the heavenly smell.

Karyana will put some clothes on as well if Carrie seems to feel that she should, and, in either case, follows the winged girl, quite possibly slipping an arm around her on the way.

Dani has her back to them as they reach the kitchen, humming to herself as she cooks.

Carrie watches her, staring a little bit from behind.

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana stares a bit as well, quietly waiting, as she doesn't want to distract Dani when she's working with hot things, especially since that would likely delay the bacon.

...Dani turns, giggles, and waves at her new friends.
"Breakfast is almost ready!"

Which may or may not be actual breakfast, since it almost seems as if they skipped lunch and dinner yesterday in favor of pool time. :smalltongue:

Carrie is ravenous, and will happily dig in!

They either did that, this is actually another meal which happens to be occurring after a sleep period, or they slept for quite a long time (which, actually, really isn't that unreasonable for Karyana, at least), yes.

Dani sits on the other side of Carrie, close (but not TOO close), still in only her apron, and chows down with a grin!

Karyana smiles, assuming she got a wing around her as well, and seems perfectly content to simply eat with her friends for the moment, since this is only the third good meal she's had in a year or so; otherwise, she frowns a bit, seeming somewhat unhappy that she seems to be less in favor with Carrie than Dani is, though she'll simply continue to eat, albeit more slowly, in that case as well.

Dani wraps an arm around Carrie. And tries to stretch to hug Karyana too.
"I'm SO glad both of you are here..."

Carrie rubs Karyana's back, and smiles as the tiny abbess goes to hug the scarred girl.

Karyana smiles, and hugs both of them, nodding.

"I'm glad we are too. And especially that it's both of us at once, even if just being here is more than I was expecting to get two days ago..."

"I'm just glad I was able to help," Dani says earnestly, before hopping up to clean the table and do the dishes.

Karyana smiles, snuggling against the winged girl, and going to kiss her cheek.

"Speaking of which, thank you for being here for me... Just knowing you're there has helped me sleep quite a bit."

Dani smiles brightly, then stands.
"I need to go do the morning rituals. I'll be right back!"

Carrie giggles and watches Abbess Tinypants go, rubbing Karyana's back.

Karyana smiles happily, apparently enjoying the backrub, and goes to climb into Carrie's lap after a bit.

Carrie blushes a little, cuddling Karyana and once again making a mental list of those scars they've got to get fixed.

Would those be the burns over most of her arms, the deep tears in her back/shoulders from being hung on hooks, or the knife marks on her face? Not that she doesn't have plenty more, of course, but those are the major ones.

In any case, Karyana happily returns the cuddling, blushing somewhat as well, and goes to kiss her.

Dani could walk in right then and spoil the moment/join in, but her player is heading off for a bit very shortly, so she doesn't. :smalltongue:

She kisses back, blushing heavily.

She holds the kiss for a quite a while, should Carrie let her, and starts to gently rub her wings at some point during it, hoping to get her to relax.

"Do you want to move somewhere with a little more room? I mean, this is nice, but the chair's not really designed for two, so it can't be all that comfortable for you, especially with the wings..."

She blushes and nods slowly, getting a little shaky.

Karyana smiles reassuringly at her, gently kissing her forehead, and goes to slip out of her lap, presumably so that they can head to whatever more spacious place Carrie has in mind.

Carrie will sort of wander around in a nervous, blushy attempt to find somewhere with a good amount of space for them to relax. It's hard, seeing as she's unfamiliar with the abbey.

Karyana slips an arm around her as they go, and, eventually, if she doesn't find somewhere before then, goes to lead the winged girl back to the room they shared their first night here.

She'll sit on the bed, clearly quite nervous.

Karyana sits down next to her, smiling, and nestles against her side if she's allowed to, though she'll leave anything more than that up to Carrie.

Dani, meanwhile, finishes tending the garden, and comes back inside.

Carrie stays that way for a while, much too nervous to continue further.

Karyana smiles softly, and gently strokes Carrie's wings, happy to just be in contact with her for now, and not wanting go further than she's comfortable with.

After a little while, there's a soft knock on the door.

Carrie meeps and jumps up.

Karyana gently squeezes Carrie's hand, and goes to open the door just enough to peer around the edge to see who it is.

It's Dani, who's smiling at her new friends.
"Um, I can come back if now's a bad time?"

KARYANA SHOULD SHE COME BACK LATER.
She blushes heavily.

Karyana shrugs, smiling gently at the winged girl.

"Up to you, love. Are you interested in doing anything she shouldn't be here for?"

Dani can't help but stifle a giggle at Carrie's blushing and loudness, and waits for an answer!

U-UM.
NO I HAVE ALL MY CLOTHES ON DANI CAN COME IN.
She squirms, scared of everything forever.

"Out of curiosity, considering you weren't wearing anything when we went swimming last night, why would it matter if you didn't?", Karyana inquires quietly, opening the door enough to let Dani in as she does.

This time Dani does giggle, and as soon as the tiny abbess has slipped inside she goes to give Carrie a hug!

Nervous, twitchy hug! But it's the funny, cute kind of nervoustwitchy.

Karyana smiles, going to hug them both as well, gently rubbing Carrie's wings in the hopes of calming her down a bit.

Karyana kisses Carrie's cheek, and goes to sit down on the bed, quite possibly pulling the winged girl into her lap as she does.

"So is there anything you'd like to do today? Besides snuggle?" she asks with a grin.

Karyana smiles gently, resting her head on Carrie's shoulder, and stroking her friend's wings.

"How about trying to figure out a way to get you to be less nervous, love?"

Dani nods eagerly.
"Yeah! Even though you're really cute like that," she admits with a giggle.

Carrie nods, nestling closer to both gals and seeming to calm just a little.

Karyana kisses her cheek, going to start a full wingrub, humming a gentle tune as she does.

Dani snuggles up with a happy smile and starts to hum.

Carrie relaxes more, snuggling closer.

Karyana happily snuggles up to both of them as well, and, after a few moments, goes to gently kiss Carrie, smiling.

Karyana holds it for a bit, though not too terribly long, due to Carrie obviously being nervous, unless Carrie seems like she'd prefer she continue when she'd otherwise stop.

She holds it a little, but mostly just blushes and nestles close and smiles shyly.
